This was my third time staying at Las Palmas. I have no reason to look for another place to stay while I am in San Felipe. The Staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities are always clean. It has a really good relaxing feeling about the place. Alfredo's Restaurant has some of the best food I've had in all of Mexico. Don't sleep on the Divorced Enchiladas for breakfast. Obviously any of the Alfredo meals are an easy win. The Chicken Cor-Don Blue was the best I've ever had anywhere. The Margaritas are out of this world. There's a small taco stand just north of the traffic circle with 4 fish tacos for 20 pesos. Don't let the outside fool you. They're great fish and shrimp tacos. The pool was very inviting but can get a little crowded with the weekend tourist. There's plenty of isolated seating around the complex if you just want some quiet time. I absolutely love this place. It was my wife's first time to Mexico. She was a little uneasy initially about the trip, but felt very relaxed once we were there.

Not at all Las Palmas Hotels fault but it can get a little loud on the weekends. The whole vibe with the weekend crowd changes. Nothing crazy, but the levels of respect from the visitors is starkly noticed from a week day to the weekend. I honestly feel bad for the staff there on the weekends.

I love this hotel. There's not much to do in San Felipe (that I know of) when passing through either going north or south in Baja. However, Hotel Palmas is the perfect place to stay for one night. For me, a solo traveler, SF is a great spot to stop before heading to the border. After three days of driving, it gave me a place to unwind, relax, enjoy the pool, a great cocktail, and fantastic food at their beautiful restaurant called Alfredo. This iconic restaurant has entertained celebrities in its hey day, like Charlton Heston and Monroe. Newly renovated, I would stay here just to experience the food. I had the steamed clams for lunch. Delicious!! Then, for dinner, I had fettuccine Alfredo with a smoked salmon. Incredible! Their pasta is homemade. For dessert, I just had to try the key lime pie. Impressive! Additionally, Tues.-Sunday they have live musical performances. Hotel Palmas and Alfredos is a must for anyone traveling to that area.

Everything was great, but suggest putting screens on windows and updating the air-conditioners.

The Las Palmas is in a good location - you can easily walk to the beach and to all of the shops and restaurants near the beach. There is a great Italian restaurant on the premises - my spouse and I had a great meal there while enjoying live music. A pizza place is just across the parking lot from the Las Palmas, but we have never eaten there. We have stayed at the Las Palmas numerous times and find it comfortable and convenient. It has an outdoor pool, but the weather has always been too cool to use it.

There is no wifi in the rooms, despite advertising saying there is. You have to go and sit outside the office to actually get wifi.

We love the the atmosphere, service, grounds, restaurant and staff. We always stop on our to and from BCS. There is plenty of room for the dog to roam and a short walk to the beach. They have coffee ready early at the restaurant

Its a little pricier than the other places off the beach in San Felepe. Its worth it if you can hang there for a while and enjoy the grounds, restaurant, and facilities but for just passing through its more expensive and you're not on the beach. We like coffee in our room, but they have it made early so thats good

It was very clean. Nice shower. Lots of parking space. Lovely outdoor atmosphere around the hotel with lots of Mexican charm! Good Pizza restaurant next door. Pets welcome (400 pesos fee)

Little noisy at evening with music playing somewhere around. No heater in the room (at the reception we were offered a small portable heater with a returnable deposit of 200 pesos, but wasn’t sure if it was a safe option 😅) Unfortunately Alfredo restaurant was closed on Monday (but Alfredo Pizza place was open and everything was delicious there))) A bit expensive, was expecting better quality of accommodation for the value of 150$ US per night. Could use better pillows.

Las Palmas has been updated, it’s the nicest hotel in this area of San Felipe. It is quiet, has great food & a beautiful patio to dine al fresco. Its location is quiet, as well. Additionally, I was able to meet Señora Palma, the owner & a wonderful lady.

I can’t think of anything not to like.

Centrally located in San Felipe, close to the beach. Very large, comfortable room. We had dinner at their restaurant Alfredo- the food was very good and had nice service. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has nice grounds and a lovely swimming pool.

Nothing I can think of.

Breakfast in the on-site restaurant was excellent both mornings! Hotel was very quiet and it was just a short walk to the main commercial street in San Felipe. All the staff was very accommodating and took good care of me.

The Hotel was a great experience. The staff spoke English which is really nice in a foreign Country. Everything is there, and little reason to leave once you are tjere.

The cost is a little on the high the side compared to other hotels in the area.

The restaurant was closed on Sunday, January 1, which was not noted on your website...so we expected to be able to eat dinner there. Luckily, the chef was in the office when we asked about the closure, and he offered to make us a quick pasta dinner (since he said most places in town would probably also be closed), and it was delicious!! He "save the evening" for us!!! There was no hot water for showers in the morning. That was VERY disappointing.
