Property is slap bang in the main square of the village, so great location. Room was ok and served it's purpose to provide a one night stopover. Staff are really friendly. Secure parking available for our motorbikes by way of a secure garage just down the street. Breakfast was ok, pastries, yoghurt, fruit ect. Given to you on a tray so not buffet. Although you did have ham and cheese as buffet style.

No air con... and it was hot. The penalty for leaving the windows open is lots of flies seemed to come in. Also as you're in the main square you can hear all the hustle and bustle until it's closing and go home time. So maybe not the best place if you need an early night.

The room was lovely, although tricky to move around in as it had an attic window with a low ceiling. The room was modern, good shower, all very clean. We were able to have the window open as it was Sunday and Monday nights so the bar downstairs was not so busy. Great views from the window. The staff were lovely, everyone that we met were helpful and attentive. There was a garage to park our bicycles in. Breakfast was good, mostly bread and croissants.

As was known to us there was no air conditioning, on busy nights it would be noisy to have the window open, and hot to have it closed.

I chose this hotel because of its central location in a pretty square with a view of the Pyrenees. My room was on the top floor overlooking the square which was perfect. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and enjoyed the food and service. Very pleasant and hardworking staff.

My room was very hot without air conditioning so I had to keep the window open. The loud music from the square didn’t stop until midnight - but this was followed by raucous noise accompanying “Transhumance” as livestock were driven through the streets at half hourly intervals until 2am. When I finally managed to sleep I was woken at 5ish by market traders setting up! Ah well, c’est la vie en France!

Laruns is a delightful town nestled in the french side of the pyranees mountains with a traditional feel. The views of the mountains are stunning from within the town. The staff and locals were friendly, informative and helpful and obviously proud of their town and heritage. I would recommend this to anyone that would like a quiet but characterful place to stay. If you like hiking, motorcycling, cycling & other adventure sports this is a very nice place to stay which is close to all that the pyranees has to offer but outside the really busy tourist areas.

Excellent location, overlooking the lovely square. Despite being over the restaurant, it was quiet and we had a good night's sleep. Room was adequate for our needs. Staff very friendly and helpful especially relating to the Tour de France. Private parking round the corner for 6 euros a night. Lovely walks in the local area which we got from the tourist information over the road. Central for good restaurants, bakeries and deli's.

It was all good. It would have been nice to have kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in room.

Very friendly personnel and breakfast was good. The location at the central place with many shops and restaurants around the corner made it easy to find food and drinks. There is the option to store bikes in a locked garage for a small fee.

There was no door between bathroom and bedroom and there was the central AC unit in front of the window of room 4 running all night which made it quite noisy.

The breakfast was adequate and staff were helpful. The central location was excellent, although parking was a little way away in a public but free car park. The room was spacious and comfortable. Having a desk was helpful. I was able to walk out of the door and be in pleasant out of town surroundings within a few minutes. It was even possible to get into the mountains on foot from the hotel.

There were no downsides, although it would have been good to have breakfast included in the room price. The central location did however make it possible to eat elsewhere, which some people may have seen as a way of saving.

The breakfast which we didn’t take as it was looking miserable and expensive . The noise from vacuum cleaners and people moving around as the walls are so thin.

The rooms were large and clean, with a beautiful view over the town square and the mountains. The staff were absolutely charming, even though we booked and checked in very late. The breakfast was delicious and the entire village was just perfect. Beautiful, friendly, small, surrounded by mountains and full of very friendly locals.

For the money - nothing! The rooms are fairly basic but such fantastic value. Honestly this place should be rated 8.5 or more on the site. It is an absolute gem.

Amazing and super friendly staff (didn't book in advance for dinner and even though the restaurant of the hotel was fully booked the owner found us a table which was super appreciated); located in the cute town centre and some hikes are directly accessible (walking distance) from there. Great stay.
