All the staff were so nice and very helpful if you needed anything. Especially Sandra. Bed was comfy and a good shower. We could even safely open the window enough to get fresh air on the 2nd floor, unlike some UK hotels that only open 2 inches!! The evening meal was a 14 euro, 2 course menu and included a roll, wine and coffee. Very good food and value for money. Breakfast similar and very good. Easy to find on the main road. Will definitely use again.

Nothing to dislike. For a short stay 2 star hostel in a great town, you can't go wrong. The only thing I can think of is that I would ask that the menu had a written English translation, if you didn't have a translate app on your phone.

I found the city of Placentia to be very interesting and enjoyable. The Hotel real it's on a hill overlooking the old city. Once we learned a shortcut access down from the hill to the old city was not too difficult. The hotel has a good restaurant that is open for the main meal. The staff were very nice and helpful

The hotel was noisy at night. It is a popular place and large crowds gather in its restaurants at night. We could also hear people in other nearby rooms. The breakfast is a very small continental breakfast. Worst of all, there are no taxis at the bus station or the train station, nor is it easy to call them. We have to walk up a large Hill from the bus station to the Puerto Del Sol in order to find a taxi to take us to the hotel.

A 5 hour drive from Santander on my way to Portugal. Perfect for a 1 night stopover. Very easy to find from the motorway with plenty of street parking. Petrol station next door to fill up. Supermarket across the road. 15 minute walk into town. Welcome was friendly and helpful with free map of area. Room was beautifully warm for January. Spotlessly clean. Free WiFi was excellent. Simple breakfast also included. I will definitely stay here again on my travels between Santander and the Algarve.

Nothing. It was perfect.

Set menu for a light breakfast which suited me fine. Lunch was substantial and well presented with very friendly staff. The town is within easy walking distance with some shops being near by. The bar is tended all day and nothing too much trouble.

I'm not a late eater so the evening meal being served around 21.00 21.30 I forget which, is quite late for me but alternative arrangements can be made.

This Hostal is easy to find, on the main Avenida de Salamanca, very sociable with people eating, drinking and chatting in the cafeteria area at the front. Within walking distance of the Plaza Mayor. Our room had aircon and double glazing so it was comfortable and quiet even with an all night party and funfair a kilometre away during their Feria. The staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking and breakfast is included in the price.

The bathroom was quite small but very good value for money.

Lovely staff .would have loved to have had the evening meal but we had been driving all day the atmosphere in the bar cafe was so nice as we were leaving a small spanish village it was like being home again so next time as we had to make do with a kepab which also was a nice experience wine beer etc available just a bit earlier 😀

Nothing to dislike

The location was excellent for us because it was right on our bicycle route. The hotel’s restaurant was filled with friendly local people. All staff members that professional.

The mattresses on our beds were too soft.

Great place , Good location on outskirts 15 mins to plaza although bit of hill walking back . Free Parking at back of hostal , great menu del dia and bar . Big room comfy beds , clean

Very convenient private parking area behind hotel. Simple but adequate breakfast. Ideal for overnight stay on longer journey.

Straightforward hotel with uncomplicated but good food.Easy off motorway .Great overnight stop .
