Everything! The location and views, the peace and the quiet. It is our 6th time here - 3 times in the monastery and 2 x in the cabins, all are good but the views from the Monastery to the castle are fabulous. Sitting on the terrace at night when the castle is lit up is beautiful. Excellent food and good service, a special thank you to Aldo in the restaurant/bar area - attentive and very helpful, as are all the staff we have had contact with. Very comfortable beds, great bathrooms with good showers and well lit

Everything about our stay was amazing. The hotel is tucked away up past the old town of Xàtiva, just below the castle. The reception is separate from the main building and the reception staff were friendly and super fast with communication before and during our stay. Our Cabaña was ready for us on arrival with crisp linen, fresh and clean bathroom and chic fittings. The bed was extremely comfortable and we didn’t hear a sound from other guests or traffic. We booked for dinner in the evening and pre arranged the tasting menu - exceptional value for money and the dining room staff were efficient and paired some fabulous wines with our dinner. Breakfast was of equal high quality. Plenty of choice of hot and cold with a selection of breads, pastries, juices and beverages. Mont Sant is definitely a little gem to be returned to again.

There were a lot of mosquitos but the beautiful gardens are a haven for them unfortunately. Take repellent if you are a mosquito buffet!

Beautiful surroundings. Extensive gardens. A tropical paradise. We booked two rooms with private pools and were extremely pleased with them. Reception staff very helpful.

Our eating experience here has always been excellent but on this occasion we were extremely disappointed in both the food and the attitude of the lady restaurant manager. Breakfast was very disappointing. You have to book a slot and when we arrived the hot food server had been turned off and everything was cold. We booked 9am and breakfast was served until 10. We were offered an omelette or scrambled egg. The omelettes were extremely salty and we couldn't eat them. They did not have breakfast tea!

Beautiful gardens, nice rooms

Some guests were really loud, continu on the mobile phone and smoking into our direction during diner. More guests were annoyed by this but staff did not intervened.

If you miss the turn like we did at the entrance to the town it’s a nightmare. Our own fault. Once at the hotel it was very good. Lovely staff, great room with balcony, like being in Asia it’s so thick with greenery. Nice meal but small portions.

Worst thing was we arrived after a long drive and there was nothing at all to eat. Suggest they cater to travellers who drive through the Spanish lunch and want to eat dinner. We had to resort to Doritos! Pool area also disappointing. For such lovely grounds it was pretty unkempt as regards the grass and the pool was small with a steep decline which made exiting slippy. However tranquil and relaxing-these are small quibbles

It was a large shady room with trees shading the balcony. It wasn't so hot when we were there so this wasn't as useful as it would be in height of summer. Comfortable room with good aircon. The food at breakfast was good, a great selection of fruit , cooked food and pastries.

There only seemed to be one iron for the whole hotel which, given a large crowd of us were there for a wedding, was not very useful. The tea and coffee at breakfast weren't very good and although there was a large selection of yoghurt there was only one plain one without sugar. (All the other breakfast food was great). We didn't eat in the hotel because our friends found it quite expensive with small portions.

Location, planting, visiting working Arab cistern below hotel property, swimming pool. Quiet and tropical. Views of the castle. The combination of ancient ruins with contemporary ideas about hotel architecture. Over all rustic nature. Classy place.

House wine was nothing. Why was the room service snack not available in restaurant when ordering algo para picar with wine. Instead I was served 20 olives, plate of potato chips and some manchego all on separate plates as If I was 2 people....no concept of small plate of apps for ONE person. Empty dirty dishes were left on a terrace the entire time I was there. Strange as the chairs and tables had been rearranged the 2nd day but no one took away the dishes. Breakfast was substantial but I came at the end - bread and eggs seemed to be sitting out too long.

What a location! Situated in the mountains between Xativa old town and Xativa castle. After 2 nights in busy Valencia we stayed here and it was serene and beautiful. I never got tired of walking around the premises and enjoying the views. The bungalow style accommodation was great as well and bed was comfortable and rooms clean

There is an old cistern underneath the hotel, Aljibe de Mont Sant, a medieval water cistern still in function today which you normally can visit but during my stay it wasn’t possible due to short staffing the night before and some open house event on the day of my checkout. That was so disappointing to miss out :((((

Nice hotel in a unique scenery with lots of history to it. Green grounds with a cute pool area, and very interesting visit to the on-site Aljibe. Parking was easy and always had room. The design of the room was nice with an enjoyable garden.

Quite noisy dispite the thick doors. Could hear people, water being used and restaurant/bar noises. Breakfast was excellent the first day, the second day the service fell a bit short and the coffee from the machine was terrible. They should have someone making better quality coffee from a proper coffee machine. Some cleaning of the outside tables and gardens should be done to make it even more enjoyable.

Fabulous location built within and incorporating the old city walls, beautiful garden, lovely room. Closer to the castle than the official castle car park! We got a twin in the main building with balcony just above the restaurant for just 127Euro. Real luxury place.

Restaurant food was exquisite though portion size was small. But this really is a minor issue, the place and staff are fantastic.
