I don't believe I was ever in a hotel I liked so much. I've stayed in more luxurious hotels, but this is the place with a soul. The room has everything you may need for both short and longer term stays. It is warm, cozy and calm. The staff is exceptionally kind. The food is excellent. Surrounding woods and villages are incredibly beautiful and the peace is priceless.

It would be good if the room had the fridge in warmer days, but you don't really need one during the winter, since most rooms have a balcony. Other than that, I'm really super happy with the hotel.

It's a very traditional German hotel with a separate building where the rooms are. Very friendly staff and the breakfast buffet was extraordinary. Haven't seen such a big one in a long time

charming park close by to walk my dog, calm and safe environment for a woman travelling alone

mattress was a bit too hard for my liking, I could have used a second pillow, not many places around to have a simple snack ( I don't like to sit alone in a fancy restaurant or bar..)
