The place is right by the lake. The scenery is beautiful and it’s nice and remote, so you can really see the stars at night. The unit is clean and modern. The heaters work very well. The owner is very friendly.

The owners/management weren’t very responsive when we messaged them. The blankets smelled stuffy, they should have been washed before our arrival. The range hood fan was noisy because the fan blades were hitting against the shield. Some of the cookware is scratched and needs to be replaced. We were provided a broom with no dust pan

Our kids absolutely loved the cottage, lake, and sandy beach! They want to come back next year! It was a great little get away from the city! The view of the lake was beautiful and the beach was our favourite part of the trip! We even became friends with all the little chipmunks - kids got to feed them and pet them! Would definitely come back!

-BBQ was dirty and cleaners provider were dirty and melted -provided very little dishes (3 plates for 4 people) -advised all kitchen amenities would be provided but a lot wasn’t -would have liked a detailed list of what is and isn’t provided at the cottage so I could have packed and prepared better; for example, would have preferred to have a more equipped kitchen than towels

Cleanliness and Quietness. Necessary amenities where there Non judgmental staff. All questions professionally answered, even through ahead of time correspondence.

Check in, there was not any - we did not know. Unless I missed it there was no information on check in procedure. The person there, did not realize we were checking in. We had to ask, who informed us what to do. With that he made an error which would have had us guessing if he had left. We had other guests arriving knocking on our door as they did not know procedure. I recommend a brief welcome email outlining check in/check out details with a contact number. There is not always someone around. Also, the stove. It heats much higher than it is set for.

We enjoyed being right by the lake. We are photographers and we were able to get some amazing shots of the sunrise and the misty lake. Although we didn't spend much time there, as we wanted to take photos in the area and at Algonquin Park, we enjoyed the mornings and evenings. made our meals in the kitchen. We plan to go back and stay a little longer and relax for a few days in this beautiful place

We love the place, the unit is fully equipped with everything you might need (including dish soap, sponge, towels, toilet paper etc), kitchenette has all utensils. The unit is very spacious and upgraded, facing lake and a large lawn. Not crowded and you can relax at your own peace. We brought our puppy and it was safe for him to running unleashed. It feels like you’re visiting your parents living up north, so comfy and cozy! We would like to thank Derek and Jeffrey for making our stay amazing and helping with all routine questions.

Clean, few steps from the lake, amazing views, kayaks available, quiet

Unit 1 windows were cloudy / not clean so impacted the view from inside living area. Sockets where very loose so had hard time plugging in charger. It would fall out constantly.

The location is really nice, because direct on a lake and very silent - during the time I was there. Good place for really relaxing.....

Unfortunately during this time of the year I have been there, the mosquitoes are very aggressive.... Better stay later in the year there...

Was a great quiet getaway, local trails were fantastic, the location on the lake made it easy to get out on the sleds to where we wanted to go. The Motel was clean with everything we needed. Couldn't ask for better parking for the trucks n trailers right out front and sleds right out back of the patio doors. The long driveway was plowed promptly after the snow fell which made it easy to get in around and out. All in all we couldn't ask for a better place!

Amazing location, right on the lake, could use canoes, bonfire, beds comfy, very clean. Blue jay Birds, chipmunks, even rabbits sighted every day. So peaceful and quiet.

The oven was weak, but great pots and pans and coffee maker. Didn’t know how to check in at first but quick phone call and we were in.

The entire property is perfect for a short or even long family getaway. Jeff is very easy to communicate and very accommodating. We would certainly comeback again!

Its not really me that dont like having no wifi available in the whole property for guests use. My kids were hoping for it but it was actually a good thing that there wasnt because they both bonded with nature. Its an amazing stay to be honest. Thank you Jeff!
