Everything, wonderful room with a huge, comfy bed and a divider to close off the loo, shower, sink and kitchenette area. Perfect shower, great pressure, hot as you like, and a choice of rose or hand held, just great. Love the separate sink to the loo and shower too. Easy car park, and lovely check-out reception offered to allow me to keep my rental there until after the boat cruise. She even waved me off as I left, so sweet. Check-in reception also great, very welcoming, especially as I arrived late evenong after a long drive, and he gave good info on the area, facilities and everything. The hotel is in an ideal position, five minutes walk to the wharf, puppet theatre and convenience store. Did I mention the bed was massive, I could sleep in any direction and not reach the ends, hahaha, fantastic 😁
Leaving, I could stay in this hotel for a week, easily 😀

I have stayed at Fairfield by Marriot Hyoo Awaji Fukura over the last few years when I visit Japan. We always booked 2 rooms for my family of 3 when we stayed here. The rooms are extremely comfortable. We also love the resting area at the lobby, where hot drinks machine are for us to use and a large table where we could lay back and use our laptop doing some work while we put our laundry for washing in the machines available.simply said, we have this home away from home feeling whenever we are there.
It would be nice if they have rooms that cater for 3, so that we dont have to spend on an additional room.

The hotel is relatively new, eco friendly, and fitted with quality bedding and towels. There is a myriad of small eateries nearby. The staff went out of their way to communicate in English. The WiFi is very easy to connect to (not password required each time).
The air-conditioning is relatively noisy, and there is no breakfast option other than a pre-ordered Bento Box. A supermarket next door should be visited for prior provisions, particularly fresh milk.

The room is spacious. The beds and pillows are comfortable (which is rare in Japan, as pillows are often flat and hard). The staff is friendly and polite. Free parking. Unlimited complimentary hot drinks. The Wi-Fi is absolutely flawless, both in the room and in the lounge.
If I were to nitpick, I’d say the toilet paper is too thin.

Everything was perfect in this hotel! The bed and hardwood floors and the size of the room! I would stay here again if I need an easy access to early trip to Naruto or Tokushima area. We stayed when the hotel is just 2 months old so everything was clean and rooms are so impeccable! Highly recommend this for families and those having a road trip around Awaji. The staff was also very kind and was able to suggest several restaurants for us to enjoy.
The location is a bit in the middle of nowhere. I dont think we saw a nearby convenience store and since they do not offer breakfast, we have to buy something ahead of time. I also suggest packing a few snacks or prepare your breakfast box before going to this hotel.

The location is real convenient if you are planning to take Whirlpool Cruise, because it is within a 5-minute walking distance to the cruise boarding point. Quiet neighbourhood with some dining options close by. One of the best lodging in Fukura. Sleek design, big room size, well-stocked in amenities. Not cheap but good value for the price.
Nothing much to complain about, except that the price is quite high, but options are limited in Fukura and you get good value from the price paid. There is not much activities to do at night in the area, only stay here 1-2 nights max just for the whirlpool cruise.

Stylish American hotel with comfortable and functional lobby (with free coffee) and a nice outdoor patio overlooking a small garden area. Considering price was on-par with a typical Japanese business hotel, rooms were larger and it was wonderful to have the option of twin beds or an actual American-sized king! Heating/air was easy to control - the room was a nice temperature. Large TV - easy to watch from bed due to huge, thick (but soft) pillows. Hotel has 50 free parking spaces. Very quiet at night. A few minutes’ walk to docks for Naruto whirlpool cruises, Awaji Puppet Theater, and a number of local eating establishments. No restaurants on-site, but staff are happy to recommend local places. Some staff speak fluent English. No problems with wifi.
Completely cash-less. Had to use a credit card to buy a less than 500 yen item from the hotel shop. Very soft beds. If you like a firm Japanese mattress, this is not the hotel for you. Excellent shower, but if you want to take a bath - rooms do not have tubs. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner as they only offer a ‘Conditioner-in-Shampoo’ combo in the shower. Rooms were very nice, but definitely designed by a man. No desk or chair near a mirror - must stand to dry hair and put on make-up, and lighting at the mirror was not great. Was happy to see a small magnifying mirror (a rarity in mid-to-low range hotels), but it was immovable and was positioned too low to be very useful.

Enjoyed the communal space where my mom and I could have some coffee before setting off for our day trips. Truly appreciate the warm hospitality of the staff and I'm glad to see multiple nationalities of employees working for Fairfield! It's just like home when your employees speak our language. Thank you for such warm welcoming every evening we get back.

My room was spacious, comfortable, and well thought out. Outlets were where you wanted them to be as well as well placed switches for the various lighting options. Enough hooks and hangers for your clothes.

Nice design, spacious and comfortable rooms. I liked the communal area downstairs with complimentary coffee, tea and miso soup. Walking distance to a few restaurants
Quite dark outside the hotel so please be careful not to trip.
