Loved the retro style and the chill vibe of our room, the lounge, and property overlooking the lake - we enjoyed the lawn games and comfortable lounge chairs. Also appreciated Meg and Maya who were helpful with advice on activities and dining. They run a great operation!
Very small detail: toilet paper holder is more style over utility in our room. Was expecting the thermal spa to be a little more remote in the woods, not attached to the motel, but it was clean, inviting and a good experience. While the property is not ON the lake, the view is good and a short walk from a charming public beach with a variety of shaded and sunsoaked spots (and the most delightful fairy village ever - go find it!)

We absolutely loved our stay at Somewhere Inn. The room was amazing, the staff communicated with us every morning and late afternoon via text to see if we needed anything. They had a balloon and a few treats for my husband for his birthday along with a nice card. The area is great for hiking and the property is beautiful and complete with some outdoor games. We happened to be there for the hottest week of the summer and the air conditioner managed to keep up just beautifully.
There were no blinds on two of the windows which made for very early mornings. If they could just put some blinds on those windows the place would be absolutely perfect.

Enjoyed the sauna and cold pool. Beds were very comfortable. Nice to have a gas fireplace in the room. Loved the shower. The room was very clean. (Except for chair.) The women working there were very nice and helpful for making reservations for dinner.
The weather wasn’t great, so without a tv in the room, there wasn’t much to do. The one chair in the room was filthy. It was a little concerning that nobody was on the property after 6:00. My friend and I wondered what we would’ve done if we forgot our room code after being at the sauna.

Really clean and pretty! Loved the fireplace. The bathroom was spacious and modern. Wonderful features like dog bowls and even a bandana for our dog, binoculars, real cream and milk for coffee and tea, spring water in the large fridge etc. Easy to get to. Located on the main highway but still quiet. Loved the communication with owner right after booking until we left! Snacks and wine could have been brought to the room for us if we had wanted them! Also breakfast could be ordered and delivered to our room! We will certainly be back!
We didn’t realize there was us tv but we turned on the fireplace and listened to music on the dry comfortable lounge and it was a beautiful evening!

Loved the location and ambience created. Lots of special touches like the complimentary beer, smores package, hand written note. Beautiful and modern asthetic that meet the expectations of what their website stated.
No reasonable options for breakfast. $80 for a family of 4 for a smoothie, muffin and oatmeal is very expensive. No comfortable table and chairs to eat a meal. Plenty of room to build a built in bench and table. More chairs outside each room so a couple could sit comfortably outside their room.

The room was amazing and very cozy, I loved that it had a fire place and the bathroom was extremely nice. Overall we had a great experience and would choose to stay there again if we come back to Calabogie!
I can’t think of anything we didn’t like, the only thing I can think of was that the wifi was a little bit slow, but that was to be expected because we were in the middle of a snowstorm.

Lovely outdoor property. We were able to start a fire and the view was very nice.
The outdoor shared space was lovely. We started a fire and took it easy. Regarding the property, it was nice the washroom was way too small. Toilette paper kept coming off the roll! The kitchen was so small and only offered a mini fridge. The bathroom sink was shared with the kitchen sink which was not ideal. Overall for the price, the bathroom was too small and the kitchenette did not offer all the typical kitchen amenities.

Emma was fantastic, lovely, chatty and welcoming. Room was great-spacious, well equipped and well finished. Board games and fire place in the room was a great touch. Eagles Nest walk and other trails just down the road. We ate at Redneck Bistro which was lovely and close. Would definitely stay again!!
Breakfast was good but a little overpriced for what it was.

Love the style / decor / comfort - the welcome treats - the staff (Jen and Emma) super responsive by text - the sauna was amazing
personally, as a big wine enthusiast, I wouldn’t call it a « wine bar » as there are only 3 wines to drink by the glass, that was by far the biggest disappointment for me (and they were terrible). the rest was incredible

We got up late and did not go for breakie. We did a brunch elsewhere
The nice stones up against the front area were coming onto the driveway area were we would walk.It was making walking a bit of a hassle not to step on them. I observed a young woman stepping and twisting her ankle abit but she seemed okay. The nice stones should be swept up close to the front area and off from where we walk and park
