This is a lovely place to stay. The staff were very welcoming, and helped me a lot by speaking English. When I checked in (earlier than expected as the weather had been foul - torrential rain all day and I was on a bike), the reception pointed out there was a garage at the back of the property where I could put my motorcycle - in the dry, and much more secure. A real bonus). I ate in the restaurant in the evening and the local set menu was superb - both cost and taste. Again, all the staff were very welcoming. Room was large and very comfortable - and as everything was soaking wet from the ride, it was a bonus that the heating could be turned on and help dry out my kit.

The breakfast was wonderful and for instance they served fresh bread from their neighbour baker. In other reviews people were commenting about the fact that the hotel was outdated, but perhaps some of the decoration was a bit oldfashioned, but everything was clean and neat. The bathroom was shining and spotless, no left over hairs from previous guests. And by the way, the rooms were equipped with hard flooring, which is ideal for people with allergies.

Some details need a bit maintenance, but all in all that were honestly minor details.

I stay at the Burghotel Pass when visiting a nearby client I am never disappointed, the Hotel is in a small urban area countryside close quiet easy to get too, staff superb food excellent am on a business trip and feels like a mini holiday

Echoey corridors - we knew all about the late-night loud ecstasy from another room & every single clattery wheeled suitcase in the morning. We would suggest carpets &/ or adding a soundproof door within the room between the room door & the bed area

I've been travelling alot, and this experience and atmosphere was one of the better ones! Found it due to the "tower" in the pictures, and decided to try it out. I am travelling by bike, and this place was on "the way". Greeted by the bartender who persuaded me to drop everything and take a beer, before checking in. ;) The owner was a very pleasent fellow, and we talked about travelling. Not only did he make me feel that he focused on me, as a guest, but also attended the other guests with warmth and laughter. The meal was amazing, and I tried a new kind of beer. All and all, it was a perfect stop on my journey through Europe. And by the way, instead of keeping my initial plan to go to Holland, the bartender gave me a good review of München and "The Black Forest", so now I'm on my way there instead! Thank you!

The only think bothering me, was that I woke up by the noice of the local bells in town, 06.30! They chimed for a good ten minutes...but hey, it was sunday, and I had to get up at 7 anyways! Will come back!

The building is beautiful, with the tower that accommodates rooms, too. The surrounding is also very beautiful, with a small creek on the boundary of the property. Restaurant with an outdoor terrace; very beautiful everything. Very good Wi-Fi.

Exceptional personnel, extremely helpful to resolve an issue I couldn't attend to myself locally due to my itinerary
