Simple room but with all the essentials and extras (tv, soaps, drinking water). Staff was lovely, kept my luggage after check out, provided info useful for my next stop. I would definitely go back. Comitan is actually very nice, and the hotel is close to the centre, restaurants and nice little squares where you can get a drink and some delicious street food, while enjoying the chilled atmosphere :)

I was in need of a good bed after swerving left-right-left-right for about 13 hours, as though I were an astronaut in training: The bed was big enough to stretch out in all directions. Contortionists and yoga experts would all approve; The water pressure was good and the hot water did not run out after half a minute like in my studio in Oaxaca-City; The pillows were perfect. My face was not all crumpled the next day and I did not need a neck-brace either; The blankets were just the kind I was hoping for: Very heavy and thick; Only woke up once to question where I was; Perfect for the quite cool nights in El Crystal Ball. The hotel's location is perhaps the best one in the city; From/To the O.C.C. Bus Station - the hotel is only a 5 minute (40 peso) taxi ride if a food cart is not blocking the way; You can just tell a taxi driver "Parque Centro" (Central Park) and you will be two blocks from the hotel; * Central Park is the epicenter of Zona Centro and is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and bars, but it is not rowdy. * Good area for a family or a romantic night out with your laptop; * Police are helpful and are patrolling the area constantly.

* The hotel is horseshoe-shaped with parking in the center, but the area has a lot of empty space. Management might want to consider putting a few tables with chairs out there, so people can star-gaze, sip coffee, beer and chat. * The box-shaped TV in my room was an interesting relic, but it seemed like a cleverly disguised i.e.d. about to explode.

The hotel was clean and very central. Beds were comfortable. Hot water in the shower.

It was a bit noisy because of the traffic. The bathroom is very small but ok, the one in the room I had booked was bigger. I booked a family room in booking with a free upgrade. When we arrived there they told us that it was not possible because the room was for 5 people and it was booked. I guess they didn't want to give me the bigger room for only 2 people, but that's not what I booked and the should not offer it.

Very friendly kind staff, allowed us to store our bags before and after check in, lots of space for parking, very close to the centre, drinking water available, comfortable and extremely clean

A little bit of noise from the road, but not really an issue

The staff greeted me with a big smile upon arrival. Even though I don't speak much Spanish and he doesn't speak much English, we still communicated well and he gave me direction to find my buses and transportation. The room was very clean. It was obvious that they take pride in this. Great location. Very close to the plaza.

Right around the corner from zocalo. Small room but clean and comfy. Staff were friendly and one speaks English to help with info for food and transportation to Lagunas Montebello.

Nothing bad. Very decent for the price paid for a private room.

The location is close to Comitán center with lots of choices to eat and a local market around the corner. The bed was huge and comfortable. It took a little time to get the hot water oressure going, but then it was a good shower . It was set back from the road so quiet .

Good location. Good value for the money. Staff is nice and helpful.

The room is a little bit small. We are just staying for one night so not a big problem.

It was a supercentral location. I had my own private room and bathroom for a really fair price. I loved staying here, would recommend to anyone!
