Top experience - booked on the way from Berlin, as stopover night. Location is superb in that sense, easy access to A93 and A9 at the same time. Parking onsite, great and spacious room of lovely design. Nice decor and ambience of the building, mix of modern and traditional. Excellent staff - as I was leaving super early, they offered a take away breakfast with coffee - which was wonderful indeed and much needed at 5am. Last not least - the restaurant was perfect, with gourmet dinner (steak, with Foer gras and prawns on the side - Wow!) served in a lovely and friendly atmosphere.

Generally a good hotel, but I can't say it exceeded my expectations. We had a room for one night, quite dark (probably because of the massive dark furniture) and therefore not very pleasant. I think four stars is a bit too much. There was a quite old dryer in the bathroom and I couldn't dry my long hair, so I slept with it wet. It could definitely do with a little renovation. But the breakfast was very good.

The rroms were very spacious and there were snacks and drinks in the fridge. We were charged for those , but a rate card was kept next to it, so that was OK. The cleaners came at a time convenient to us as we had a baby in one of the rooms. There was ironing board and an iron provided on request. Food was awesome. Located just opposite a bus stop and the train too was 2 minutes away. Next door to the Freitshalle which was so convenient as we had come for a event.

Spa was closed and so also Indoor golf needed a license to play. Pool was closed too.

This is a 4-star hotel - so no unpleasant surprices... Everything was fine: - staff very nice and helpful - location and parking - just a few steps from the city centre (like 10 minutes walk) - outstanding breakfast - very large room and bed

Nothing - just one personal subjective view: the corridors and doors to rooms are designed as old-fashioned ones (like 17-18th century). But it's a modern hotel - so I would prefer cleaner design. But it's not a fault or any reason to lower the points.

Nice homely room with good beds and good breakfast. To be recommeded as limited supply of hotels in Hof.

Shame that the restaurant wasn't open on the Sunday evening but walked into the centre and had a good pizza/pasta at a restaurant pointed out by the receptionist.

very friendly staff, nice and spacy room

when booking i thought the hotel would be more central - it is not really, you need to walk quite a bit to get to the old town and also there is a very busy street along the main entrance, so it is not what one would expect from looking of how the hotel presents itself. Nevertheless, it is easy to walk everywhere and the nice room and the friendly staff compensate for a lot.

It was just what we needed as one night stop on our long car travel. Nice and clean hotel with parking just in front hotel. Very nice reception at arrival, clean and big enough room, nice breakfast and after that we had to continue our journey.

It is like my "home hotel" as s wheelchair user I always receive the disabled room. The location is excellent, and the restaurant is outstanding. Breakfast is also very good and the stuff is always available for any need.

This time it was not available, and I had to receive a regular room. That was upsetting me. That was the only problem for this visit.

Great place to stay. The room was huge, very clean and we had a beautiful view. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast had really nice variety of good quality food. Highly recommend.

comfortable bed and nice breakfast

the heaters were turned completely off when I got to the room. it took me sometime to figure that out and I had to sleep under 2 covers until the room got warmer. when I reported that in the morning at the reception I didn’t even get an apology. sad because I always liked that hotel.
