The restaurants are superb. Taro and Kafir both are outstanding.

Swimming Pool for leisure was missing.

Very clean and well-decorated rooms. Also, the water pressure in the shower was excellent, which is unique in India.

The front desk staff could be better trained re: tours, attractions, and recommendations in Udaipur. Also, the WiFi could be stronger, but it was decent.

That it was new building, so in good condition, our bed was facing the huge window with nice view, with electric curtains. Very nice. Location was good. Food was great. I could have stayed here longer than 2 might. We paid $80Aud for massage, they gave discount on tax otherwise it would have been $100 for massage but we got to use the huge spa and good hot shower. The massage was worth it. Nice herbal tea after, felt very spoilt. I would give them a 10/10. Overall awesome stay.

when we arrived I thought oh no there was no grand reception, it is on the first floor and we had to go by lift to get to reception, there was issue with getting hot shower and hot bath, that’s why I rated it 9/10 otherwise I would have given them 10/10.

It is probably one of the most interesting facilities. Behind the modern façade is a piece of art that people with an eye for finesse and precision will notice. When you walk in, take a minute to look at the flooring pattern in the reception area and then I'm sure your perspective will change as to what went into creating this place. The floor to ceiling glass with a spectacular view from the suite was something to behold. Everything else like service was best in the class.

communication over WhatsApp and booking.com could be improved. The demand for depositing advance payment using non-traditional means like bank transfer makes the average Western traveller a bit nervous

Rooms: Exceeded expectations Very nice hotel. The rooms were modern and clean: the A/C was perfect, the bed & sheets were incredibly comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure and no issues with hot water. The room curtains blocked out light well and the noise isolation was pretty good, so very easy to get good sleep here. Listing Accuracy: Exceeded expectations The photos on the listing accurately depicted the rooms, although I think the room was bigger than it looks in the photos. Also, the listing said twin bed, but it was really a full/queen-sized bed (this might just be a translation issue). Hotel services: Met expectations Staff were professional and helpful. Room service was tasty and reasonably priced. Laundry service was quick and affordable. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options to choose from (plus the view from the restaurant is very nice). Location: Met expectations The hotel location is accessible (perfect distance from downtown) and safe. The downtown area is close (like a 10-minute Uber ride away), but far enough that nights feel restful without noise and light pollution.

The parallel hotel was a great way to spend our last day in udaipur after 2 nights in the old city. The Parallel hotel was lovely, incredibly clean, new facilities, hot water!, very nice staff, we had room 709 with a nice view of the tip of the lake in the distance and green trees. The spa experience was excellent. The surprise and icing on the cake was going to the gym this morning and meeting Dakshraj Singh an incredibly talented physiotherapist who is on staff in the gym. He worked on my knee injury and quickly diagnosed the source of the pain coming from the hip and worked on my sciatica. DAKSHRAJ is a true talent.

Everything was great

This hotel proved to be a wonderful choice for my short visit to Udaipur. The property is modern, spotlessly clean and in a very nice area, just a short tuk tuk ride to the Old City. My room 504 was quiet and spacious, comfy bed, great large TV screen, lovely ensuite with lovely shower and plenty of hot water. I had a wonderful breakfast each morning on the 10th Floor Restaurant FIRKI which has spectacular views of the city. Food is plentiful and fresh, with great selection and good coffee. I had Dinner in FURKI on three evenings - vegetarian menu with plenty of options. Hotel has embraced technology in a big way - for example menu is obtained by scanning qr code on table - but staff happy to assist the non-techies like myself. Speaking of the staff - the entire team at FIRKI were exceptional - a great team of friendly and helpful staff, without exception, they are a credit to the hotel, always smiling and happy to chat to guests and assist in any way possible. There is also a rooftop Bar/Restaurant TARO which looks spectacular but I did not get a chance to try. Finally I have to thank the Receptionists Harshika and Akash, who were warm, friendly, smiling and helpful at all times - from the moment I arrived to departure. The only small issue I had during my stay was trying to use AC in room - the engineer did attend to assist me - system seems to be controlled centrally rather than from room - however, overall room temp was fine. Thank you to all the staff at Parallel Hotel for a lovely stay - your staff are a credit to you and I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to family and friends.

This is luxury like I have not experienced before. The fine details are what set this property apart for me - no expense spared in the building quality. Excellent gym! Super quiet rooms - probably because of double pane windows and good wall/floor/ceiling insulation. A bit pricey for me, but if I can afford it again, I'll do it again. Definitely worth the cost.

It is a bit far from the old city and main attractions. However, this is both a curse and a blessing. Being a bit further away means it is a bit more peaceful.

A very modern and quaint hotel, the room was smaller than expected but fully equipped. The TV was huge, and the complimentary mini bar drinks were a nice touch. The staff were friendly and the restaurant and room had such an amazing view for New Year's. The innroom service menu was limited, but the best kulfi and falooda of my entire life! Overall, it was a comfy and beautiful stay with one of the best hotel views!

The hotel was completely veg, which was not an issue as the food was amazing. A bit more variety and perhaps more explanations on the menu would help. The hotel did not have a travel desk but provided a list of popular attractions. We had to find alternative contact details for a guide via trip advisor who turned out to be amazing. The salon was not yet operational, and my husband desperately needed a haircut and trim before a wedding we were attending. We got the sense that the hotel is still quite new and finding its feet.

The Parallel hotel was incredibly comfortable. We had a room with great views across to the Lake. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were very attentive and speedy. The lobby staff were very informed and helpful. The hotel is new and it felt like real luxury. 3 minutes walk to the Garden of the Maidens which provided calm and peace (and lots of birds).

Nothing - it was all excellent. Wish it had a pool - that would have been the icing on the cake. The Spa in the hotel is European prices so expensive for India.
