The property has the best view one can get in Udaipur. Rooms are super comfy and well-maintained. The food was great as well. The hotel garden was easily accessible and it was great to spend your mornings and evenings there!! I would love to visit again in the coming years. The hotel has a limited number of rooms so the property never feels overcrowded which is a rare sight nowadays.

There is nothing to dislike. The choice of crockery during breakfast was not up to Lalit Standards, we were served things in steel bowls which looked very outdated and heavily used in the past. Also, the coffee mugs were not up to the standards of the Lalit.

I liked the reception guys for always being welcoming. The restaurant staffs Neha, ? B? Singh ( I forgot his name) and all others there. Very nice and kind. I appreciate the chefs efforts to provide us with south Indian food. Thank you. The lawn and the view and everything was just awesome. The security and the sit outs all were nice. I would appreciate and thank MR. PRABHAKAR, who was very kind and always warm to any of my requests and personally took care of us, especially my special child. We got the medicines when I fell sick and on checking out he made sure our breakfast was packed and above all, he could communicate in tamil to us and always checked on whether we were comfortable and well. I will be visiting again for another holiday. Disciplined staff with good music and smiling and welcoming reception staffs n their rose drink 🍸. Everything is authentic, heritage n good. They all were kind with us, and especially Prabhakar was very understanding and always ready to help these two mother and special kid daughter traveller's. We felt very safe and never hesitated to ask for help, roam on the clean roads during late hours because of the safe security. On the whole everyone were like a family making our stay peacefully n relaxing 😌 ☺️ 💕 🙂 ✨️ 🤗...Will come again.

I liked everything. The bathroom could have a hand shower is my only request to the hotel. Otherwise, everything is awesome.

Excellent spread for breakfast. Great welcome. Exterior of the Property maintained well . Manicured lawns and extremely well behaved staff. Clean mostly. They accommodated us with connecting rooms as we had booked two rooms for our family.

We asked for lake view and got that but the windows had bird poop before we got in the room. We had requested to clean it from outside but no one did. So we didn't really sit at the bench/ledge/diwan to enjoy the view and kept the Roman blind drawn. Shower faucet of our bathroom was broken and we had to hold on to it while showering. Toilet seat was very unstable.

Well maintained legacy palace building that overlooks the Fateh Saheb lake. Nicely located. Rooms are well appointed and service is excellent.

While one expects insite restaurants to have high prices, the small portion size came as a surprise. The Indian breads were really small and the curries portions too were much smaller than what one would expect in hotels of the same level. Some Ground floor rooms are at street level and this is a privacy issue. Though our room had a lovely view of the lake, we had to keep the blinds down for privacy.

The location of the property is excellent. It has beautiful lawns and an amazing view of the entire Fatehsagar lake. The room sizes are great, just like most of Lalit properties.

The catering staff were not as well trained as you'd expect. Breakfast was an 8/10 but other meals (a'la carte) were 6/10. We had chinese and italian, both. could have been better. It s a relaxing property but no pool nor too many things to do at the property.

Good location, courteous staff, large open spaces in front of the property, good view of Fateh Sagar lake and walkable distance too.

Bathroom had no regular tap to bathe using a bucket. So, even to wash one's feet, there was no option. The doors of rooms wouldn't easily open after inserting the access card. Heard about this issue from other guests too. No indoor games area for kids. No swimming pool either.

Great location just by the Fateh Sagar lake, its a heritage property and the furnishing is quite exquisite and tasteful!! Views from the rooms were also very nice!! And the staff were excellent - there were some riots in the old city and the hotel staff went out and got some medicenes we needed - that was very nice :) breakfast and food in general was excellent!!

the property seems to be huge, why not build a swimming pool??

The view of the Fatehsagar Lake. The food at the restruants were good. The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. The staff at Aagan were nice.

The WiFi didn't work well and we often couldn't connect. The room service was slow.....we had to call repeatedly to remind them. The heating at Aagan was poor. They need to focus a bit more on the finer details of hospitality.

The property has a fantastic view of the lake. The staff is very cordial and the service is very quick. They offer complimentary kids food which was very convenient to us.

The property is quite big but it falls a bit short on amenities. A kids play area and a swimming pool is missing. Also if the roof terrace is developed into a sitting area it would be really good.
