Fantastic and very serene location on the lake. Views from the room were amazing. The rooftop restaurant was awesome and again with great views, the staff looked after us really well when we visited for dinner. Food was also extremely tasty. Breakfast spread was very good with lots of options .

Staff at breakfast were okay, some were great however this is an area that can definitely be improved. They can be more pro active and come forward to explain the different stations when they take the room number. the buffet I is also located in a bit of a hidden spot so it took us a while to figure things out. They could also discuss and resolve their issues and differences in a lower voice without the guests over hearing. .

The location is great, it is near the lake and in a quiet area. The food was also very good, breakfast contained both local and continental (a lot of local things but the omelette was cooked as per request. The rooms were clean. The staff was helpful. There is a tour service available at the hotel and I booked a cab for a tour for 8 hours to visit all the interested placed and could also modify the list of the sightseeings.

The room that I was registered in was located above the kitchen area with the lake view and there were some sounds from some devices that are working non-stop. I couldnt really sleep well the first night. More over, I set the room not to have cleaning but anyway it was cleaned and the changed pillow cover was left on the tabletop, my nightgown was placed on the bedside table crumpled. I reported the case and it took very long to understand the issue and after many ettemps to fix it, I asked for another room, and I was moved to the suite for a night as all the rooms were occupied (so kind of the staff). The third night I was moved to another room and that was the best out of all, very quiet, very clean with a small balcony and perfect view.

Very good time during our stay. They went an extra step to arrange a birthday surprise for my partner with a cake and picture in room. Good communication and staff very attentive to needs. Breakfast was good and had variety Beautiful pool on the lake which is relaxing and the spa was fantastic.

It’s a just a little far from main pichola lake which had some great roof top bars for evening and sunset views better at pichola but this hotel is away from the hustle and bustle so it’s nice to relax and unwind.

Best part of Lakend is beautiful location. It is on bank of huge Fateh Sagar lake. Area around lake is maintained properly. having dinner or breakfast along lake is experience in itself. staff is very helpful and co-operative. our original plan was for 3 family members. But fourth member was suddenly added to our itinerary. Hotel staff was very supportive to allow fourth member in same suite. housekeeping and support staff were very prompt in addressing all guest requests. EVen travel desk were very flexible in arranging car and taking family for local or outstation tours. The rates were also reasonable. It is worth for money we paid for our family vacation.

Suggestion: Suite room should be bigger, some part of balcony of suite can be acquired to make bigger room.

My wife and I had a memorable stay at this property. We enjoyed the amazing view of the Fateh Sagar lake from room and the small balcony overlooking the lake. Their rooftop restaurant is a must for an alfresco dining experience. Special kudos to Tanisha from the front desk for the seamless check in experience, Virendra from the restaurant for looking after us and Arjun - GM from Lakend for going out of his way and provide us top notch experience.

We liked every aspect of this property. One area of improvement could be to train the staff as we at times felt the housekeeping and wait staff were bit too eager for the reviews and tips. It could be just our individual experience and wasn’t a problem. An amazing hotel and we would surely come back here.

Location is great. right on the lake. you can relax with quiet surrounding. Enough parking space. Easy to reach from highway. Auto/cabs are available for city trip.

Food - Lot of variety is there but taste was missing. we tried many things and we feel that taste can be improved. Staff - no rude behavior but they looked dissatisfied with their work. Not Value for money - price was quite high for the facilities.

Both my wife and my self were pleased with the quality of the services received The breakfast bar staff was very responsive and courteous Vinita took good care of us on ensuring the pick-up from the airport The afternoon shift gentlemen (did not get his name however, he has a nice motorcycle helmet which I admired when he was getting ready to head home in one of the days) was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay The travel desk manager who helped us get the transportation we needed. Very efficient. Always on time

The room was a bit dated The reservation listed a room with balcony and outdoor furniture. There was no balcony The breakfast bar is geared towards Indian vegetarian cuisine. Limited International options are offered: boiled eggs, toast with butter and jelly ... Not bad, I enjoyed the Indian dishes while my wife enjoyed the toast however, a bit more options may help travelers in the future. An egg / cooked to order omelet station would help

Hotel Lakend exceeded my expectations at every level! Hats off to General Manager Arjun Belliappa for bringing 5 star service, attention, and care to a property that need not necessarily have that. From housekeeping, to room service, to restaurant staff and leadership, to hotel management it was clear that the goal was to provide the level of excellence that guests might receive at the finest resorts in India, and indeed the staff not only strove for this but usually hit the mark. I am more often disappointed with hotels in India than impressed, and Lakend has left a lasting and memorable impression. I hope that the hotel group's management realizes and appreciates what a gem of a leader they have in GM Belliappa - when on duty he is constantly getting to know the guests and striving to see how the hotel can meet each guest's unique and different needs. Again, I am deeply impressed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. To the staff of Lakend - job well done! Please know that guests like me see it and appreciate it.

Pro-tip if you book here: The lake facing rooms cost more and they front the property's very popular event rental space (lawn, pool, etc.). Events can continue until midnight or later, and the giuest rooms are not well insulated from environmental noise. I would have gotten a courtyard facing room, rather than lake facing room, had I known about the late night noise from events.

I had an incredible experience at this stunning lakeside property LAKEND. The management and staff were exceptional, and I want to give a special thanks to Arjun (GM) and his team, including Manish, Shekhawat, Bhanu, and everyone else. This was my first visit to Rajasthan and Udaipur, and I was thoroughly impressed with their hospitality and service. Arjun and his team went above and beyond to ensure my family's comfort. I highly recommend Lakend.

High end welcome and early check in was made available as we arrived on an overnight train from Jaipur. Complimentary breakfast and tea/coffee also offered while we waited for our room to be ready. Breakfast was very good - lots of choice although mainly indian options but that is OK - we were in India! Room was very comfortable and spacious.

Wifi was very poor for a hotel of this standard which in 2023 is not really acceptable given that other hotels we stayed in throughout our 2 weeks in India (none 5 star) all offered good, consistent wifi. The bathroom was not cleaned as 2 days running the same items (there before our check-in) were still on the floor to the side of the sink table. I dropped something on the floor by the bed and when I picked it up - there was a lot of dust and carpete fluff on the floor. Again - if you want international clientele - these things have to come as standard. Lastly, tea and coffee were available in the room but only powdered milk - 5 star hotel with 5 star prices - give me actual milk - there is a fridge in the room!
