Beautifully decorated apartment in a house with wonderful views. The BnB is managed by Colleen and she does a terrific job. Loved the design of the bathroom with a door opening to the outside. The bedroom too has amazing views to the ocean, as did the lounge/kitchen area. The whole place just has so much space and is so light and tastefully decorated. Charlotte House is next to a coastal reserve with beautiful trails down to the beach. Perfect for morning or evening walks. Breakfast was outside on the terrace. Definitely recommended. Would have been perfect to spend a much longer holiday here. Next time at least a week or two.

Colleen was at the venue to give us a choice of rooms. That was lovely: chose the one we liked best! Spacious!!! There wasn't a wide view from our room but looking into the fijnbos was good enough. Other rooms do have see view. Colleen handed us the keys and explained how the venue works with loadshedding (no loadshedding but spare use of heating), breakfast etc. The breakfast room is upstairs with see view. Beautiful. The entire building is quaint with LOTS of attention to detail. I loved to find new big and small details which were thought through before the building of the house had even begun. Loved it!!

A little but not major: the very bottom step to the entrance is a bit higher than comfortable for elderly people.

The house and room was very nice andwe would have loved to stay longer than only one(1) night. The manager who did take care of the property for the owner was very nice and helpfull. Also the lady who did the cleaning and also took care of the excellent breakfast, was very nice. The house is situated in the end of a street and it's very quiet and also had a path the the fynbos area just beside the house.

Huge studio room. We'll equipped for self catering but breakfast can be purchased. Lovely breakfast of fruit, granola, yoghurt plus a cooked breakfast of your choosing. Charlotte House is right next to a nature reserve and we saw deer walking past our room. It's possible to walk through the reserve to the beach. The accommodation is great value for money.

Perfectly located property, right on the edge of town and walking distance to the beach. Our suite was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Mark and Colleen were fantastic hosts and we will certainly be back soon!

Honestly, nothing to complain about. We’re just sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

Love seaside vibe. Room decoration was calming. Owner Mark and host Collette were very friendly, helpful and cooked a great breakfast! Collette also reserved us a table at local restaurant as we were arriving late. Sadly we were only here for one night but would definitely visit again.

We stayed in a spacious studio overlooking the garden. It was peaceful and quiet, only the birds to keep us company. Our room was well equipped, clean and tidy. The shower was amazing, the bed linen superb and to top it all we met by warm and friendly Colleen

Everything was perfect

Charlotte house is set in a lovely location and is well maintained. The room was huge, which included cooking facilities, and opened up to a seperate bedroom and bathroom. Mark greeted us into the accomodation and even carried my luggage. We loved the town the property was situated in, really friendly vibes.

Exceptionally beautiful & spacious accommodations. Very comfortable, clean and private. Excellent breakfast (on request) on upper deck with lovely views over town. Rear rooms face nature reserve, front rooms overlook neighborhood. Abuts a nature reserve with walking trails and near beach bay with historic fish traps and tidal pools.

Wish we could stay longer!

It's very clean and everyday room service. Colleen is very friendly and does her best to accommodate her guests. Laundry service is offered. The host, location, safety, service, staff, food, wildlife and much more, was excellent.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay so much🌸 Sundays are difficult to find a dinner spot so you have to make sure to cook yourself.
