Jan is a great host, he explained everything and communicated effectively and promptly. The first day I got something small to eat as well. The room has everything what you need - towels, slippers, bathrobe, TV, women's hygiene supplies, tea, coffee, ...

Even tho there is a designated smoking area, you could have smelled the cigarette smoke in the whole house. Someone was smoking in the garden, but the smoke entered the room through the opened window which was quite unpleasant. The wifi there is for free, but didn't work that well, most of the time I used my own internet.

The host was polite and very welcoming. The location is absolutely great, with a stunning garden on site. The bus stop is just a few minutes away, making it easy to reach the city center. The city itself is very nice and clean.

The host is a smoker and allows to smoke on the first floor but the whole house smells of cigarette smoke.

Jan was very hospitable, informed me on arrival that there are nearby shops and how to get to town. Asked which language I would prefer to speak and encouraged me to make myself at home downstairs with kitchen facilities etc. The room was clean, warm and well equipped…. a sewing a kit, paracetamol, toiletries and plenty of cold drinks. Bathroom was kept very clean at all times. On my second night, yan had emptied my bin and left a sweet treat for me, a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again. Thank you jan.

The host was very polite and welcomed me with open arms. And I had the opportunity to leave and come in the guesthouse as I pleased without needing anyone to open the door for me.

Reaching the guesthouse from the train station in Enschede. You really need a car to reach it conveniently. But the price made it well worth it.

My stay was amazing and I'm really happy that I was able to find an temporary accomodation during my transfer to a new home here in Enschede. The owner Jan is a very kind and respectful person, positive happy to help you out.

The owner smokes a lot, so take in consideration that the whole house smells like smoke. As a person with asthma it was hard to breathe.

The apartment is very nice, clean, and Jan was so kind to let me stay in his home! I am a single woman who is only English speaking and that was no problem at all, and I felt safe in the home and area! He had great suggestions for the surrounding areas listed in the room along with access to the house at all hours. That helped because my softball games ran late into the night. I would stay again if I'm in the area for another tournament!

Jan is superfriendly and helpful. There is everything one can need for a stay, with all details well thought through. Including shoepolish and an alarm clock in the room, plus basic cosmetics and hairdryer in the bathroom. That was a very comfortable stay with great value for money!

If you don't smoke be aware that the ground livingroom floor is a smoking zone. Keep in mind that the rooms are on the 1st floor and there is no smoking allowed, so you can skip the smoking zone and not be affected by it.

Owner is very helpful and friendly. He always tries to make you feel comfortable. The place is always clean and even the room allowed to smoke smells fresh and nice.

There ıs nothing for not to like. İt is a bit away from the centre but it is also ok. About 10-15 minutes you would find yourself ın the center also.

Jan is a nice guy and there is enough privacy and close to the local bus stop. Supermarkets are quite close too. Very reasonably priced.

The room was a bit musty. The location is connected by bus but a bit peripheral. I'd like to have felt more comfortable using the kitchen.
