Location was good, 5 min away from Turtle reserve, Dinner was tasty, quite a few vegetarian options, Breakfast was average. Room was big, Well done up. Bathroom was clean, Hot water. No complaints on that front.

the Reserve gives priority to Guests staying at their own property. At 830 in the night, with Children, it makes sense to stay in the reserve, rather than wait for 1 hour for the turn to come, for guests from other properties. Also, please do note, 12 OMR per head is extra visit charges per Adult and kids above 6 if your staying in this property, or any property other than the Reserve Property

A beautiful camp in the surrounding of the harsh Rocky Mountains. We were immediately welcomed by a very friendly team. The layout of the camp is beautifully planned. Our luxury wooden house was a dream to stay in because of its generosity, local natural materials and atmospheric light. Good bed, good shower, everything worked fine. The breakfast pavilion is nice to sit. Every morning and evening we had a slightly different meal. Imran the good fairy served us with his warm charm and read our wishes from our lips. The surrounding area is nicely kept, watered plants, clean ground, excellent subtle light in the night. We stayed four days and did little trips to the surrounding areas and we loved it. It’s very recommended!

The location is really great and the atmosphere of the resort is very chill and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and always open to help. There is an offer of activities and they also offer an open air cinema for free that is a very nice experience. Super close to the turtle reserve and you can book your activities there also directly at the reception. The food selection for dinner and breakfast was small-medium but enough and satisfying.

The room could have been a little bit more clean, but nothing very disturbing. The room we had was very big but there was not a lot of place to lay and open the luggage, we had two medium size trolleys and we had to open and place them on the floor. With all that space I believe that a portable luggage stand or a small table would be great, but this is a very specific detail.

We stayed in the Deluxe lodges. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were all so attentive and hospitable. The breakfast and dinner options were cooked to order and nicely done. The dal was a particular favourite! Good location to the Turtle Beach. A must is the boat trip!!

This is advertised as an eco lodge and promoted sustainability. However the use of single plastic water bottles was excessive. A suggestion would be at meal times install a water cooler and use glasses and stop the use of small plastic water bottles!!

Our room was stylish, large and comfortable. The staff were rally helpful and the dining options during Ramadan for Breakfast and Iftar were really good. Very close to the Turtle reserve, making it easy to get to and from. We saw a pair of turtles, and were able to get up close to one laying her eggs, as well as see the bioluminescent plankton and a spectacular starlit sky.

The Wifi was weak or unavailable away from the main lobby and restaurant. We had a TV but it only showed the ubiquitous news channels, but no streamers

We had a very nicely equipped and huge room (cottage). The hotel is not big, and even though it was fully booked when we stayed there, it is still a quiet place near the mountains and the turtle reserve. Dinner and breakfast buffet were included in our package, and we were served several delicious options. The friendly staff organized our visit at the turtle reserve for us, however, the hotel is close to the reserve but not directly at the beach but behind some mountains.

The hotel is nice and feels unique. The private semi-outdoor bathroom is a nice added touch to give a special experience (if you don'tlike outdoors or not having A/C in the bathroom, then this is not for you). The room itself has an A/C, which worked very well. The hotel is a bit secluded from other buildings and the natural reserve, yet still close enough for you to reach there in a couple of minutes by car, which is great. The food in the restaurant was decent, nothing special but no complaints there. The staff were kind.

The reception told us that since the natural reserve was only a few minutes away, we shouldn't go early and that arriving around 8:45 for the 9:00pm departure was fine. Fortunately we decided to go at 8:30pm and even then we almost missed our chance and had to argue with the staff at the reserve to let us in as there were already so many people. So don't listen to this and go there early, especially on weekends and public holidays.

Our stay at Sama Raz al Jinz was an absolute delight. The staff's exceptional hospitality, especially towards our little one, made the experience truly special. The unique resort is really a very special location since it offers a magical night under the stars in the middle of Oman. You are close to the beach and to Sur for some excursions. We also would like to highlight the great food offer in the morning and at night. We enjoyed it very much. Overall, Sama Raz al Jinz provided a perfect blend of home-like comfort and an extraordinary Oman experience. We highly recommend it to those seeking a great stay in the Sur region.

Location close to coast and turtle watching, space in bedroom, very friendly and helpful staff, large choice for dinner and breakfast.

Few suggestions to improve further: Wi-Fi performance (not working during our stay), door of deluxe room not closing properly, no extra bed for our 4-year son despite a large room. But everything was largely compensated by the friendliness of the staff and beauty of the location & environment.

Such a cute place! Our room was so nice nice, loved the bathroom with the outdoor feel! Bed was comfy and air-conditioning worked really well! Dinner and breakfast were good,lots of choices. They set us up with a turtle watching/ snorkeling tour, which was really good. Checkin was easy, we were offered cold towels and watermelon juice. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night!
