The staff was exceptional! They were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was large, very clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had extra towels. We utilized the outdoor pool on our stay and found it to be clean both in the pool and around the pool area. Towels for the pool are supplied by the hotel. We will definitely be using this hotel for our next visit to Martinsville.

There needs to be a light out by the road that you turn into for the hotel. We arrived in the dark and drove by twice, before we found the road to turn into. Other than that it was a perfect stay!

Grounds are well kept. Building was well tended. Room was very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Continental breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly and kind. Overall rating is A-!

Would have preferred housekeeping came daily. On day 2 of our 3 day stay, there was a loud noise like a power saw being used 3 doors down and across the hall that disturbed my wife and caused a disturbance in the television. This continued for the better part of the day.

It’s our go to when we race in the area. Love it in the summer time. Breakfast was wonderful as usual

Bed was very squeaky, like couldn’t find a quiet spot to lay. Needs replaced. Staff in check was ok but leaving no one was found. Price form hotel is always so high

Honestly, I have to come to Martinsville to visit my family. I hate staying in the area, but the Hampton Inn is like a little slice of normal. It's such a relief to come back to the hotel in the evenings. The staff are really nice, the food is pretty decent, I like the free snacks, the beds are comfortable.

The hot water for tea was never hot the last time I visited. But that's just me being nitpicky. Otherwise it was great.

Unfortunately, one of our keys didn't work, so we had to run back down for that. Then we find out the sheets we're soiled. The plus side, your staff was extremely quick in fixing the issue.

The water was shut off from 10AM-12PM on the day of my departure. I had no morning shower. The front desk indicated that every quest had been told at check-in. I was told of the trick to get hot water to the third floor, though was not told about no water. The front desk indicated there were signs informing of the water shut off. I did see them at check out. Normal type size on a 5'x5' piece of paper on the check in counter and a similar sigh near the first floor elevator button ... so they tried. My comment to the desk staff was to make the signs more "eye catching" as the 12pt font was easily missed. And with large font, bold type and wording to catch your eye as ... ATTENTION GUESTS ... IMPORTANT ... PLEASE READ ... etc.

It was more expensive than other accommodations, but we were in town for a family medical emergency and needed the comfort when it was time to crash

The property inside and out was exceptionally clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the room was immaculate. I travel quite frequently and it has been a long time since I found a facility this clean and welcoming.

I think rooms were a little high for the area. I wish we could have had a room close to our daughter we did book at the same time and requested as close as possible but we are were on two separate floors. other then that a good stay staff was nice and helpful !!!
