Staff was extremely friendly, the room clean, and one fabulous waffle !

The room was still pretty warm during the day.

Excellent customer service. Owner called me to find out when I would arrive so he could turn on AC to make sure my room was nice and cool. The room was very clean, beds very comfortable. The motel was quiet and safe. Breakfast was very good. The room was very affordable. It's also very nice to support a small business where they truly appreciate their customers. I will definitely return.

I honestly had no complaints at all.

place was initially quite underwhelming aesthetically, being quite worn in some parts especially the bath/shower, but then everything worked properly, TV and wifi were good, lighting setup was very good, selection of furniture, layout, size of room was spot on. And then the bed --- it was sooo comfy! Had the best sleep in 2 weeks. After the second night I'm convinced I'll be back for a longer stay. I should also mention that the hot water comes on quickly, and the central climate control is quiet and well-adjusted. Great value for the quality of snooze, plus the price was very attractive

Owner staff was beyond helpful. So accommodating! I forgot my phone charger cord and they let me borrow one at the front desk and insisted I keep in on checkout. Upgraded my stay from a single to a queen double because the AC was on in the queen room! Nice breakfast with hot coffee, eggs, waffles and biscuits and gravy, juice and cereals. This place is worth the stopping before or after Amarillo on the 40 - hands down.

Its on the original Route 66 so the rooms are obviously dated, but that adds to the quaintness of the property. Seeing the older tile colors was really cool. Everything worked in the room. AC, TV (with printed guide), all the lights and even the bathroom ceiling fan was quiet!

Size of the room and the Wyoming King size bed and the bed was very comfortable. Being able to park right by the entrance to your room is very convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Another plus is there is a table and chairs. Nice that there was a table and chairs.

Bathroom was very old and the toilet was extremely low.

The owner was very nice and helpful. He was very helpful with my husband in regards to how to maneuver the U-Haul and the trailer through the parking lot and let my husband park it wherever he liked because he was a novice at pulling such a large vehicle. he was very personable. He had the rooms all warmed up for us as it was a very very cold evening when we got there very pleasant man I couldn’t begin to explain how nice it was to have such a kind and friendly person after a long, hard day of driving. The rooms were clean and warm. The beds were comfortable. It was a very nice restful evening after as I said a long day of driving on our move from California to Iowa thank you very much Shamrock.

This place was wonderful. We arrived during a thunderstorm and it was warm, comfy and dry. Our bed was nicely appointed and the tv was great when it came back on. The thunderstorm knocked it out for a time so no fault of the motel. That's why God made laptops, lol! Everything was clean and I felt like I stepped back into 1965! Will definitely return!

She had just shampooed the carpet that morning. The room smelled fresh. Even though the fixtures are old, they keep it nice and clean. We like being able to park our car by the door. The lady that runs it is very sweet and accommodating.

It is a well preserved Route 66 hotel near the Texas Panhandle. You can feel the history about you in this hotel and in other buildings on the strip. A nice simple breakfast was a bonus.

Not the style of the day but an indoor visiting area would have been nice. However, there was outdoor neighbor chatting if you wanted it. I got to talk with a prior resident on the area who coach high school football. He was a wonderful bonus.

Nice Route 66 experience. The room was clean and though the building is dated, there were no unpleasant odors. Parking is right outside the door. Our neighbors in the room next to us were from Australia and loving it. We convinced another traveler who we met photographing Route 66 scenes to stay there as well. When we left the next the next morning, it appeared all the rooms had been rented.

Things could always be better, the building could use a fresh coat of paint, etc; but for the price we had a fun experience. If you are looking for luxurious accommodations, this is not it.
