The breakfast was excellent, everything was modern and the rooms were very clean and attended too as well. Their fitness center was better than you'd expect for the price range, and the staff was super friendly as well. They had dog treats at the counter and aside from the location being a bit bland, this La Quinta is as awesome as you could ever ask for. La Quinta was 2 for 2 on my drive from Atlanta to Phoenix, and I wish I'd used them on the Phoenix to Atlanta trip as well. The only reason it's not 10/10 is because the location is pretty self-contained, but maybe that's a bit harsh because it's on the I-20 in Big Springs, TX. Big City bias

I wish there had been something to do within walking distance, but maybe that's a big ask given the I-20.

CLEAN!

There was a lady that stayed in our room the night before, lost her wallet. Even though she went to the front desk and inquired. She came to my room and proceeded to ask me about her missing Louis Vuitton wallet. If I had found it in my room upon check in ect. My room was on the 3rd floor. I get it but I don't. For safety reasons this made me VERY uncomfortable, plus I was traveling with my disabled daughter. I know staying at other hotels this is unacceptable practice to let former guest that check out hours before have free access to the hotel. I did call the front desk and inquired if she had checked with them cause you can never be too careful. The reply was well maybe she should keep up with her stuff. That is not the point. Js

I checked in around 11:30pm after working 18hrs, I was exhausted. The woman at the front desk was so courteous and pleasant to deal with. That was one of the fastest check-in’s, which I really needed at the time. The room was clean and ready for me, no complaints there at all.

If I had to complain about 1 thing, it would be the air conditioner in the room. I need the temperature pretty low to go to sleep and it wasn’t able to get below 69 all night. I still got some pretty good rest, though.

Brandi was great at checking us in and very helpful and so kind. She was great with my daughter, made us feel super welcome. My daughter spilled hot chocolate In elevator and when I told her she never got mad or seemed upset like other ppl have . Best stay ever

Everything was great

Check in was easy. Room was clean. Bed was comfy, Bathroom was clean and well stocked. Check-in staff was friendly, check out staff was friendly. Place was quiet. AC was substantial.

Coffee was not great, but there was a Starbucks close by. Everything else I liked.

We had a fantastic stay at La Quinta by Wyndham Big Spring. The location is convenient, and the rooms are clean and very spacious. The well-equipped gym and big pool were great for relaxing and staying active. The personnel were friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. A nice place to stay in Big Spring!

Loved the Western art throughout the hotel. Comfortable bed and plenty of pillows.

It seems like Booking.com reservations always get lousy placement. We were right next to the elevator and could hear the cables ALL the time. Also coffee pot was very awkward for a short person to use, and not easy to move to desk because of short cord. Breakfast was VERY busy - impossible to use waffle iron, had to wait a little for biscuits. Rest of breakfast was great.

The location was perfect to access and the staff was amazing!! We stopped on our way through Texas and were exhausted and the lady that’s helped up was so kind and greeted us with a smile. Would recommend this property.

Everything was great until breakfast. I saw what appeared to be a small cockroach ON THE FLOOR (NOT NEAR FOOD) in the dining area. It made me think twice about eating.

The seal to the door to our room was missing and there was clear view into our room from the hallway which we covered with a towel. The TV did not have user instructions and did not work.
