A wonderful peaceful setting , a great back patio area to sit and listen to the birds, and look over beautiful fields . Wonderful communal kitchen and good Coffee. The host recommended that we see the beautiful village of “ Veules-les- Roses” ..take the time , it’s worth the visit and a walk around ,,and lots of roses . Just a short drive away. I recommend that you travel with your own cream if you use it in coffee . I’m glad we did as even McDonalds has no milk or cream for your coffee.

Twas lovely ..just a small thing , again no soap to wash your Hands after toilet use . Not a big deal as we travel with our own .I know people traveling from North America and the Uk and several other European countries think it’s a given to have soap . So just bring som tiny hotel bars with you .

Decent accommodation at a budget price. Clean and well organised. Quiet location and peaceful surroundings. I stayed twice. The upstairs room was much nicer than the downstairs room, which looked run down.

No soap. It is a major omission and unhygienic if one can't wash hands properly after using the bathroom. Anyone staying somewhere half decent overnight would expect soap. The cost is minimal, for goodness sake, fit liquid dispensers if you're worried about people taking it. At least there is toilet paper !... I mentioned this the first time I stayed, no response or action. Shame, I won't stay again.

I was really only using this accommodation as a pit stop for the ferry to Ireland the next day so I can't comment too much on how it would suit somebody looking for actual holiday accommodation. However the area is idyllic french countryside with a lovely little town nearby. The host spoke a scattering of English good enough to help me find a place to eat.

Nothing beyond the internet being a bit weak, but it was fast enough for me to stream a bit of netflix on my laptop. The weather was shocking too, lots of cloud and rain so it might have had something to do with it.

Very comfortable accommodation. I could happily have stayed for more than just one night.

The torrential rain in the morning! But I was able to relax in the communal space before moving on. I hope to return in the future

The room was very clean and recently renovated. I also appreciated how soft the bed sheets were. Extremely quiet environment.

Arrived in darkness due to ferry problem, a great relief to find keys were available. Nice clean accommodation in a very quiet peaceful location. Good bedding and pillows.

No toiletries were available in the bathroom - soap, at least, would have been appreciated, as no shops close.

Basic accommodation in a very nice and relaxing rural area. Excellent the possibility of using an entire kitchen, large and with a panoramic window overlooking the garden equipped with chairs and deck chairs.

Amazing hotel and excellent value for money. The room was spotless, quiet and great bed. There was real care in the hotel and a welcoming owner.

Friendly owner, room clean and comfortable, great shower and heating. Quiet idyllisch setting. Good price for a stopover.

Great host, clean & well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean and comfy room and bathroom. peaceful rural area with open views. great spot to spend the night in the middle of a bike trip. would definitely recommend.
