Very dog friendly group of six gite apartments/cottages. Great location within walking distance into the fishing port town, shops, bars, restaurants, banks and large sandy local beaches. The gites are immaculately clean and each has a private terrace. There are secure car spaces in the gated courtyard, one for each rental along with plug ins for electric cars. Our bed was very comfortable and the owners very kindly offered to change our towels as we were staying the whole week. Extremely well run, great communication and very friendly. Gites #5 & #6 are the most private/separated. We would definitely return.

A couple of small things. There are not too many electrical sockets, so you might want to bring your own plugboard for laptops or smartphones. Secondly, I'd probably not reserve gite #4 if there were other units available, as it is not enclosed/gated (if you are bringing a dog) and it is the only unit with an apartment directly above.

Perfect little place to visit La Cotiniere and the surrounding towns. Parking right on site. We had our own space on the second level with Bedroom, living room, dining room, and a cute little terrace that the weather sadly didn't cooperate to let us use. Coffee and confiture, among other staples, were thoughtfully provided and all appliances worked well. The apartment is very well appointed and has everything you need to be self-sufficient during your stay. It was also nice to be able to wash our clothes mid-trip while we stayed here. Our host was lovely and provided lots of information and suggestions. We will definitely stay here again.

Toilet was quite loud after flushing (maybe due to the water pressure on an island location?), so don't recommend flushing it late at night!

This was self-catering. Easy walk to the boulangerie and close to the centre of the town. Charming collection of cottages with good planting and OK parking.

Beautiful, newly renovated, comfortable apartment. Everything is there, perfect. It's really great. We were 2 people, but we booked this 4 person apartment. The kitchen is well equipped We were only 2 nights and hardly used the kitchen. We ate in the cozy restaurants within walking distance. The bedroom is a bit on the small side, but enough for sleeping. The bed is fine, not too soft. The bathroom has 1 sink and a spacious shower, with a shower curtain. The living room is fine, with sofa bed for 2 more people. The wifi is excellent. The parking is on site and lockable at night. There is a private terrace with table + 4 chairs and a parasol. We had apartment number 4. The apartment is centrally located. You can rent bicycles within walking distance. The island is very suitable for cycling, the cycle paths are safe and located on the entire island. We didn't see the host. When we arrived the key was in the door of our apartment. We called to ask if we could get in and that was okay. When we left the apartment we left the key on the table. The cleaning is included but it is the intention that you leave it clean. That is not a problem, because all cleaning supplies are present. They do speak English.

Everything was thought out, the kitchen was stocked with good basics, ample coffee for the morning. The bed was very comfortable, our apartment no.6 was so quiet and spacious.

Our car parking place was not very convenient. On our first night it was very noisy outside but that was just the Saturday night, not really a problem

We only stayed a few days but it was a nice cosy and comfortable apartment that met all of our needs especially private parking
