The staff here is exceptional!!! Very friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to help us with even the smallest things. The location is absolutely perfect as only meters away from the city centre and the promenade but very quiet little street so even during busy August stay there were no noises during the night. The room was clean and nicely decorated, bathroom clean and spacious shower. The courtyard is a cosy little place to sit and enjoy a drink. The spa is small but when not too busy still very enjoyable.

This was a very last minute booking due to another property that I had booked and received confirmation for, but had overbooked therefore could not accommodate us. Although initially I was not in the best of moods due to this error after a long drive, when I arrived at Grand Hotel des bains my mood suddenly changed, this was thanks to the delightful welcome we received on arrival by the young man at reception, in fact there were two and both very polite. The man who took over dealing with my check in was so professional in every aspect, he gave a thorough introduction to the hotel and its facilities along with some very useful local knowledge of the area. The hotel itself although looking a little tired and in need of some maintenance in the reception area, was perfect for us in terms of location and for having a spa facility. This is only a three star hotel so not expecting any form of grandeur, therefore perhaps the name is not quite fitting. Despite my personal thoughts on this please do not be put off at all, what this place lacks in elegance it certainly makes up for in the friendliness and hospitality of all members of staff who truly make you feel welcome. The bedroom was tastefully decorated and fitted with everything you would expect with quality furnishings, the en-suite showroom was contemporary and sparkling clean. There was a small function in the dining room beneath our room but this did not disturb us in anyway. There is parking available in a secure garage next to the hotel at an extra cost but I chose to park on the street which is free parking. Breakfast as I recall has two charging options, I opted for the higher rate which provided a nice breakfast but unfortunately not the best I have experienced. This was my first time in Fouras and I was completely blown away by the beauty of this little seaside town. I hope I will visit again in the future and I will certainly rebook into the Grand Hotel. The location is perfect , only 2 min walk from the beach in a quiet street. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The rooms are decorated with taste and have everything you need including air con. We loved the breakfast! There is everything you would want from eggs and cold meats to fruit yogurt and and bread and pastries as well as endless coffee. Finally the hotel welcomes dogs which is rare! We didn’t use the spa but hope to come back !

Good location near the centre, and beaches. Reception staff were helpful and keen to offer advice.

The room was compact for a 'comfort' room i.e. not much space to manoeuvre, sliding door to bathroom was short to shut fully by a couple of centimetres, and had to request for change of towels after 4 nights in out of 6.

The staff were lovely and very helpful on the whole. The room was nice, clean and of a decent size. The breakfast choice was very good and well worth the extra money. We paid for the secure parking and this was worth it as it was just across the road from the hotel and we did not have to drive around looking for street parking.

We were on the first floor which was not too good for us oldies. Should have requested ground floor or near elevator. Bar closed at 8.30pm which meant you couldn't relax with a nightcap before bed.

To begin with the welcome we received from the man on reception was absolutely great. He was charming and helpful and really made us feel that he was glad we were there. He offered us his local knowledge for visits and eating places. The room was clean and quite basic (although he said we’d been upgraded) but good. The hotel is handy for everything at fouras. Breakfast was good

The thing that really annoys us (probably with search engines rather than the hotel itself) is when you put a filter in for hotel parking and then you book the hotel expecting this but the first thing you receive is a message from the hotel that they have no parking, but there is lots close by 😡 as it was there was a problem but this isn’t the point!

Great location close to the beach and the newly renovated main street within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops. The indoor pool, steam room and sauna are clean and popular. Very good breakfast, either in the dining room or out in the courtyard. The room was OK for size, bathroom small but in good order. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The room was lovely with a partial sea view and a small balcony (room no 1). The staff were very friendly, especially Alexis. He was so welcoming and helped us with our French (he does speak excellent English too). The hotel is walking distance to the beach and some nice restaurants. My husband is vegetarian and Alexis recommended a very lovely restaurant on the seafront that served a delicious vegetarian Dali.

Car parking. Not familiar with narrow streets of Fouras. Would have liked car to be nearer to hotel and would have reserved secure parking if sufficient spaces available. But will know another time!very happy with our stay by all in

This hotel is conveniently situated to the beach and restaurants in Fouras. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist (Alexis) who gave us plenty of information etc. The pool & spa was a welcome addition.

The room & especially the bathroom was small for the price paid. The price for breakfast was expensive at 13.90 euros per person so we went to a local cafe. There is also a charge for parking in the garage-fortunately we found a free space opposite the hotel but this may be difficult in the high season.
