The location was perfect for us. We came by train and the hotel is between station and town centre. Our room was a good size. No 9. Nice view. Very quiet overnight. Lift available.

Didn't realise that réception closed between 12.00 and 15.00 hrs. Even though they said we could leave our cases if we were early. We couldn't get in at 11.45. Tried phoning, but no answer Luckily for us, another guest let us in, so we left them behind réception desk. When we returned, they had put them in our room . So all good

The hotel was very comfortable in easy reach of the centre and the continental breakfast was good. The receptionist was helpful and kind.

Not a big issue but one of our party is disabled so we used the lift which was small and very slow. It was like a domestic lift for one wheelchair. It worked fine but felt like it was struggling.

Expensive breakfast, with no much options in buffet! I understand that it’s a small hotel and we had late breakfast @ 9:15-10 but there was only 2 selections of cold cuts and cheese ,few slices left. Same with pastries.

Lovely decorated ‘Hollywood Legend’ room facing the street. Lift up to second floor and then stairs to the third floor. Small but very nice dining room for a continental breakfast. Free parking across the street. Pleasant walk to the shops and bars.

Lovely receptionist - spoke perfect English. Charming and polite. Our room was lovely and comfortable and the location was perfect .

Owner was lovely and helped us in every way, we had a beautiful quiet room advised us on parking etc. highly recommended this quaint personable hotel

The mattress was unfortunately very uncomfortable for me but otherwise no issues

Staff went out of their way to be helpful -carried suitcase to 3rd floor which doesn’t have elevator access

Nice old hotel with friendly staff. We loved the towel swan on a bed. ❤️ They have a big storage for bicycles! The breakfast was plenty.

The hotel is very well located in a lovely town. The proprietors were very friendly, very welcoming and so helpful.. The room was spacious and nicely decorated.. The customers' creature comforts were well through. Breakfast was excellent, the bathroom in our room was delightful with a great shower and lots of natural light. My favourite item though was the little magnifying mirror. Every woman's delight🤣

The hotel doesn't have a lift but lots of help is available to take luggage upstairs and the car can be driven to the door.

Friendly staff. Huge room with a sofa and table! Great location. You can walk to the transporter bridge by a footpath, although it's a fair way.
