The Hotel's history, the location, the friendly and welcoming reception staff, the good size richly painted room overlooking the square with a comfy bed, coffee and tea supplied (but no milk supplied) the parking, and the access to the history of the area. the breakfast was fresh and with a good selection in a friendly manner, The Dinner was local and good quality but the selection was limited, would stay again.

The bar staff could attend the bar more as we waited a long time to be served and we had to track the staff member again to get a further drink, but they were friendly

We only stayed for one night on a trip back to England from Spain but we managed to cram in some time at the pool, a walk around the town in the evening and breakfast in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay - the staff were ace, really friendly and helpful, the room had a nice atmosphere with the dark colours and lighting and we liked the separation of the bedroom and bathroom. The pool is nicely situated and the grounds take in the river and the impressive and elegant 17th century rope factory - it was a great spot to enjoy an early evening drink. Breakfast was great - loads of choice and properly fresh little croissants. The town is beautiful for an evening wander with little bars and restaurants and so many elegant white buildings. If I returned here I'd definitely stay at the hotel again.

It was just next to Corderie Royale and was close yo other tourist attractions. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. It was also very relaxing to chill at their restaurant/bar. You can see some boats pass by which really entertained my son. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. They also responded quickly when I asked questions about the room using this app.

When we arrived in the car park, a staff member going off duty saw us and welcomed us she was so nice. However when we arrived at Reception the staff member there was on the phone for over 5 minutes and didn’t even acknowledge us until she finished the call. The checkout on the morning of Sunday 12th Oct was great as the friendly welcoming member of staff was back on duty

The location was perfect. Right by the Coterie Royals. So lovely to see the river in the morning. Great Napoleon mural in every room.

The lighting in the rooms was a little too bright, and unable to dim. The rooms were also too warm and we couldn’t turn off the heater. The breakfast buffet was overpriced and had too many do it yourself items, like can you just pour us coffee from a carafe instead of having us use a machine. And I wasn’t expecting to hard boil my own egg!

The location is excellent near the river and sea, and the building is lovely with lots of history. with a dark modern interior and friendly reception and dining staff.

The barman could have stayed near or at the bar and some bar snack menus would have been a good idea the menu in the restaurant all thought the staff were attentive and good the food could have had a better range with a wider choice.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Lovely to be able to sit by the river and enjoy a glass of wine. Comfortable bed and good shower room.

Difficult to change but , the lavatory is very small and the door has to be fully opened before you can get in. We are both slim, so plumper people would have a problem.

This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely location and a great stop off on our drive through France. The staff were lovely and set us up a table in the bar for breakfast as we had our small dog with us. Easy parking and a lovely walk into the town centre.

No option to eat dinner in the bar but we did have room service instead.

The staff was very accommodating and the best part was the restaurant which we only went to because it was raining out and locally didn't see any restaurants we'd like. Had one of the best meals of our trip and the lovely blue-eyed woman waiting on us was fantastic.

Excellent Location Excellent Breakfast. Lovely to have drinks out on the terrace, under the trees, next to the river. Friendly and helpful staff.

Parking was tricky without being able to book a space. Our room was quite small with strange tinny bedside tables.
