Huge & newly renovated room with a view on the garden. Very comfortable bed, nice breakfast. Locked garage for us to leave our bicycles. Got a whole load of vouchers from reception detailing local tourist attractions. Lovely area of the country, great to explore by bike.
Nothing really, except there was a big Swiss German group staying in same hotel that slowed down getting served a drink for example.

Located in the heart of the Val de Travers, in the lovely village Couvet. The hotel has a nice garden and the restaurant is in beautiful traditional wood style. The entire Interieur of the hotel is very charming.

Absolutely remarkable hidden gem, this hotel. While on the outside it looks like an outdated old inn, inside, the rooms are renovated and well-equipped and very very spacious. The steam shower in our room was positively brilliant (although, as far as I understand, not all rooms have such a shower). The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, the breakfast was carefully packed in order to comply with corona requirements. We appreciated the free parking. We'd definitely come here again for a longer stay!
There's no elevator (but for us this wasn't really a problem). The hotel is indeed a little overpriced, being one of the very few in Val-de-Travers.

Excellent dinner, very good value for money and very friendly service.
Room was way too hot at night and heating could not be lowered, bed was ok, sheets not great, tv did not work.

Really nice old building with tastefully done renovations. Delicious dinner. Nice restaurant. Close to the train station and only 10 minute train trip to Noirague for hikes to Croix de Van

Breakfast was very good.
The staff room was beside our room. That room made huge noise and woke us up one day early morning during our stay. But after I notified this to the hotel staff, it didn't happen again.
