This time I was with colleagues and we shared a triple room, which was actually a room with 4 separate beds. The room was large - 2 separate beds on each side of the room and a common area with a dining table in the middle. The beds are very comfortable, there was a TV on each side, good Wi-Fi. The room was on the other side of the main street, so there was no tram noise early in the morning. Blackout curtains. Shower with shower gel and towels for each person. Breakfast was great - a wide selection. Free parking if there are free spaces by the hotel. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful.

Only disadvantage, water in the shower could drain faster.

I have stayed in Liepāja many times but always avoided this hotel, assuming it was just a bog standard moderninsed former Soviet type hotel of the sort that is commonplace and boring. I was completely wrong. It's an excellent option and great value. Staff were super helpful when I asked about extending my stay, the breakast is generous and if you have business in Liepāja the location is perfect. It's not at the top of my Liepāja list and I feel like a bit of a chump for avoiding it all those years.

A couple of times smoke drifted up to my open window from people puffing cigarettes on the pavement below, but there's not much the hotel can do about that.

Very good location. There was a very nice smell in the hotel. The automatic entrance door is so perfect. The restaurant was so clean, so it was a nice organised breakfast, plenty of choice, all fresh. Dinner : The chef is cooking so well., very professional and delicious, dishes presented so nicely. Check in and check out was so smooth.

Unfortunately the staff would greet us only if it's very necessary like if I start to talk to them and greet them first. Very rare I would see the smile. Housekeepers walk you just pass ,never saying "good morning, hello". I appreciate room service but the beds would not be made and used cups were not washed or changed.. Maybe that kind of service is not included in the service.

The hotel is right in the center of the city and beside tram and city bus stops. The commercial area and cafes are situated around the hotel. To the seaside it will be a 15-20 min walk. The check in was efficent and all the staff where friendly and attentively. The rooms are quiet even the hotel is beside the main square. The hotel has a good restaurant/cafe with a decent menu card and prices. The kitchen is open until 22.00 pm. Breakfast is normally not included but can be added. The is breakfast buffet offers a variety of food and drinks. By nice weather you can sit on the terrace of restaurant/cafe. The hotel offers lugguage storage and a fitness room.

There was noting I didn't like or what would bother me

We had a basic room with an own bathroom and the room was quite ok. Not too big and no amenities (like a water kettle) but it was a nice place to stay. We were really surprised by the breakfast. A very good choice was offered. Parking was available for free in front of the hotel. The location of the hotel is quite good and in walking distance to the towns center. Our dog was welcome (thank you) but we had to pay 15 EUR which was about 30% of our total room fare which I consider rather expensive, keeping in mind that the dog neither had an own bed nor was is it given breakfast.

Three things that I did not like: (1) the bathroom was very narrow. When sitting on the toilet, I touched the bath tub left and the wall right. (2) the breakfast space was very limited and it was a real challenge to get a place. (3) the free parking was limited to about 10 or 15 cars.

Good hotel. Surprisingly, it usually offers the best price, and their breakfast is absolutely good reason to pay even some more compared to apartment with self-cooking. General feeling in hotel is a bit 'oldschool' or getting there, but it is what we expect - classic and simple urban hotel for short-term stays. Quadruple room is spacious enough, with table for having some chat and drink before sleep.

Car parking may be tricky, but we had enough space in front of the hotel, so no problems.

I recommend staying here with breakfast included. Cleanliness, helpfulness, city center, everything you need is nearby. Everyone will find something to eat for breakfast. Beds are comfortable. There was a coffee kettle, tea, sugar in the room.

The hotel is centrally located with helpful staff and an exceptional breakfast. I would definitely stay here again for the breakfast alone. For the breakfast you can get a wide variety of delicious dishes made from high-quality ingredients in a cozy dining area. We had a free access to the fitness room, which was a significant advantage for us.

The furniture was old-fashioned, and the TV resolution was low. Additionally, we were provided with only two cups in the room, despite staying with our child.

Having arrived later than expected I went to reception to ask if it would be possible to go into the restaurant for a meal. I was advised, as I was a guest, that wouldn’t be a problem. The food was beautifully presented, very flavoursome and the standard of service was exceptional. After rechecking the timetable for the train from Liepaja to Riga on the following day, I found the late afternoon train was no longer available. Regrettably, the station ticket office wouldn’t be open until 8am, so I popped downstairs to see the hotel receptionist, who was brilliant. Very calm. Between us we found an app that I could download on my phone, book and pay for the first available train, which was 05:02 in the morning. Reception ordered a taxi to pick me up at 04:14, Simona, the receptionist was so kind, when I went to checkout, she’d made me a cup of tea to go. What an exceptional young woman.

The lack of parental control of children running up and down the corridor. I appreciate that was beyond the hotel’s control.

The location is great. Staff - really nice. Enjoyed the breakfast options. They have local salads as breakfast options and it is really nice. Probably will stay at this hotel again, but I have some reservations before staying again

Only cable tv and weird placement of the furniture. Also my husband said that pillows are too soft and the mattress is extra soft. Some people love it, and for some people it's just to soft
