Very good location. There was a very nice smell in the hotel. The automatic entrance door is so perfect. The restaurant was so clean, so it was a nice organised breakfast, plenty of choice, all fresh. Dinner : The chef is cooking so well., very professional and delicious, dishes presented so nicely. Check in and check out was so smooth.

Unfortunately the staff would greet us only if it's very necessary like if I start to talk to them and greet them first. Very rare I would see the smile. Housekeepers walk you just pass ,never saying "good morning, hello". I appreciate room service but the beds would not be made and used cups were not washed or changed.. Maybe that kind of service is not included in the service.

The hotel is right in the center of the city and beside tram and city bus stops. The commercial area and cafes are situated around the hotel. To the seaside it will be a 15-20 min walk. The check in was efficent and all the staff where friendly and attentively. The rooms are quiet even the hotel is beside the main square. The hotel has a good restaurant/cafe with a decent menu card and prices. The kitchen is open until 22.00 pm. Breakfast is normally not included but can be added. The is breakfast buffet offers a variety of food and drinks. By nice weather you can sit on the terrace of restaurant/cafe. The hotel offers lugguage storage and a fitness room.

There was noting I didn't like or what would bother me

We had a basic room with an own bathroom and the room was quite ok. Not too big and no amenities (like a water kettle) but it was a nice place to stay. We were really surprised by the breakfast. A very good choice was offered. Parking was available for free in front of the hotel. The location of the hotel is quite good and in walking distance to the towns center. Our dog was welcome (thank you) but we had to pay 15 EUR which was about 30% of our total room fare which I consider rather expensive, keeping in mind that the dog neither had an own bed nor was is it given breakfast.

Three things that I did not like: (1) the bathroom was very narrow. When sitting on the toilet, I touched the bath tub left and the wall right. (2) the breakfast space was very limited and it was a real challenge to get a place. (3) the free parking was limited to about 10 or 15 cars.

Good hotel. Surprisingly, it usually offers the best price, and their breakfast is absolutely good reason to pay even some more compared to apartment with self-cooking. General feeling in hotel is a bit 'oldschool' or getting there, but it is what we expect - classic and simple urban hotel for short-term stays. Quadruple room is spacious enough, with table for having some chat and drink before sleep.

Car parking may be tricky, but we had enough space in front of the hotel, so no problems.

The hotel is centrally located with helpful staff and an exceptional breakfast. I would definitely stay here again for the breakfast alone. For the breakfast you can get a wide variety of delicious dishes made from high-quality ingredients in a cozy dining area. We had a free access to the fitness room, which was a significant advantage for us.

The furniture was old-fashioned, and the TV resolution was low. Additionally, we were provided with only two cups in the room, despite staying with our child.

Having arrived later than expected I went to reception to ask if it would be possible to go into the restaurant for a meal. I was advised, as I was a guest, that wouldn’t be a problem. The food was beautifully presented, very flavoursome and the standard of service was exceptional. After rechecking the timetable for the train from Liepaja to Riga on the following day, I found the late afternoon train was no longer available. Regrettably, the station ticket office wouldn’t be open until 8am, so I popped downstairs to see the hotel receptionist, who was brilliant. Very calm. Between us we found an app that I could download on my phone, book and pay for the first available train, which was 05:02 in the morning. Reception ordered a taxi to pick me up at 04:14, Simona, the receptionist was so kind, when I went to checkout, she’d made me a cup of tea to go. What an exceptional young woman.

The lack of parental control of children running up and down the corridor. I appreciate that was beyond the hotel’s control.

It is located in the city center. All important attractions are close by. Beauty salons and shops around. Very good breakfast. Not too expensive.

Few parking spaces. The staff are a little slow (for example, they write down your personal information manually) and can't give recommendations about the city. Only one elevator worked. My room consisted of two connecting rooms. A door or a curtain could have been added between them, or at least the lamps could have been placed in such a place that they would not disturb the sleeper in the other room.

The location is very good ,in the middle of the city.As soon as you enter the hotel, you can smell the beautiful parfume of the hotel.Reception and cleaning staff was very kind and helpful.Rooms cleaned every day and every day clean towels. The best thing I liked was the power of shower. And good thing there is WiFi and there is restaurant For a price of the money I'm giving this hotel 5 stars

Just all little thing there are not iron in the room.

This is a good hotel, where things do work well and you do not find surprises. The room has just the space needed, not more, but also not less. Perhaps someone of bigger size might find it a bit small (I am 185 cm tall and 70 Kg). The shower does work well and has glass doors so the rest of the toilet does not get wet when you shower. The location is as central as it gets.

Perhaps, the only thing I would improve is the bed Not the most comfortable, but I was able to sleep well nevertheless.

The place is perfect, easy to find, close to the old city and 10 min walk to the beach. Staff is friendly and ready to help. Room is clean, cosy, decorated in modern colours. It was enough space for two of us and a dog. Bathroom is small, but it was everything we could need there. Breakfast had a big variety and was really delicious! You can even bake a bubble waffle yourself! Hotel is dog friendly, tou can even take your furry friend to the restaurant for breakfast or dinner. We are happy about our stay in Liva and would choose it again next time.
