We had a fantastic experience staying at Il Giardino di Galatea. Our room was beautiful, spacious and clean. In addition, the property was absolutely stunning, with a lot of beautiful details. The owner (Carmelo) could not have been better. He was thoughtful and helpful and did everything he could to make sure we were comfortable and made the most of our time in Sicily. Although Carmelo didn't have to, he was also very willing to help us with the practical things that we hadn't sorted out from home. We will definitely be going back! We highly recommend the place.

The house is a very tastefully renovated and comfortable farmhouse. It still has its citrus orchard with the original irrigation construction in stone. The host gave an enthousiast tour around the garden explaining all the local fruit variaties and how the irrigation worked in the past. The breakfast included great local specialites. This B&B was a wonderful place for our last night after touring in Sicily for 3 weeks. Because it is located conveniently close to Catania Airport, we could spend a relaxed half day in the city and end with a great fish lunch in Maria Scala.

There is a sign missing on the outside, hard to find and hart to leave... there is nothing to dislike.

The hotel is in a very good location and the service was excellent throughout. Carmelino the owner was a perfect host and made our stay so much nicer. Breakfast was also good value.
