We stayed for one night and found it to be the perfect base for visiting Wadi Bani Khalid and entering the desert. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful, going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed including a fridge. Our room was quiet away from the busy road, allowing for a peaceful and restful night's sleep. The bed was very comfortable, which was much appreciated after a day exploring. The food was simple, but tasty. A comfortable and relaxing stay.

Great location - near the grocery store and a tourist cafe. This hotel is the perfect starting point for either the Wahiba desert (where other stays are awfully expensive camps) or Wadi Bani Khalid paradise. Very good breakfast available and you can also order dinner which really saved our lives as there are not a lot of restaurants in the area. Staff was super friendly. And my personal favourite thing about this hotel was the bed with not one but two very soft pillows for each sleeping beauty.

As we took the cheapest room our view was not particularly admirable

The motel is well positioned just off the main road for journeys through the area. The room was very spacious. Air conditioner was good but, strangely, located above the bed headboard. Dining room pleasant, and where wifi worked best. No meals taken.

The communal areas, and particularly the outside of the main buildings, had a tired look. Property could do with some renovation. Whilst a kettle was not listed with the room booking, the 5 other hotels used in Oman of comparable standard all provided one.

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The room was large, spacious, and clean. Even though it's located near a main road, it was surprisingly quiet, and the central location made it easy to get around. The breakfast buffet had everything we needed to start the day, and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We can definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

Clean and big rooms. Nice garden with rest area. Staff was very friendly and helpful, with all problems (Brother was sick they prepared medicine) Breakfast was good. They offer a sunrise desert tour with a beduine guide 30 rial (for as much ppl which fit in the car) which was awesome. Tour was set for 1.5h but the guide showed us Alot of places so it was more like 3 hours. After the tour was camel riding and tour through a traditional beduine house (extra paid 3 rial each person for 5 minutes camel ride, longer rides available for more cost) - all together was 4 hours tour, I highly recommend it. It is totally worth the money.

Perfect for trips to Wadi Bani Khalid pools, only 45 min drive from the hotel. Liked the deserts sands located literally outside the back of the hotel. We stayed 2 nights and decided to upgrade to the small chalet room for 2ndnight as has it's own pool in the room! Well worth doing as this was amazing and filled with well water from deep in the ground which was warm and felt lovely on the skin!! Bit pricey but awesome!! Also most powerful shower so far in Oman.

Breakfast offerings were a waste of time initially but they did cook us fresh eggs and toast on request so all good.

It was clean, with a big room. We stayed in the annexes, not the main building and it was no problem. As usual in Oman, the owner was very friendly. This is a fairly big hotel, good for big groups.

Despite having a lovely garden, the hotel was right in front of the highway. I did not really care, this place is usually chosen because it is very close to a natural attraction and not for its charm.

We had the chalet for 2 with the indoor pool. It was a blast. Comfortable and nice; the cooking area and the grill was indoor, cosy atmosphere and near to the desert and the wadi. They arange nice trips for you, if you like. You only have to ask and you get what you asked for. funny animals, like asian turkeys, observing you through the window, while you are cooking. Perfect Internet, so we could get some work done too.

the highway is pretty close, but at night it is ok.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel near Wadi Bani Khalid run by a wonderful family, and I can confidently say that it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and hospitable staff, who made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is nestled in a beautiful location, surrounded by stunning scenery and peaceful surroundings. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities you need to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel is also well-maintained, and clean, and has a charming traditional design that adds to the overall experience. But what really sets this hotel apart is the family that runs it. They truly go above and beyond to ensure that their guests have the best possible experience. Mr. Mohammed Al Hajri(owner) is always available to answer any questions, provide recommendations, and ensure that everything is running smoothly. He even took the time to share some of their traditions and customs with me, which was a highlight of my stay. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wadi Bani Khalid. The combination of breathtaking scenery, comfortable accommodations, and unparalleled hospitality made for an unforgettable experience. I hope to have the opportunity to return someday and stay with this wonderful family again.

Nice place and friendly owner. It was clean and quiet. Good breakfast. Value for the price. Beautiful garden. Close to the desert.

There is a picture of the water in the outdoor swimming pool in booking com. But I have never seen water in it. Have been there at least 5 times. Would love to go swimming!
