How peaceful the beach was and our rooms were very clean and wonderful views of the sea.

A bit manic at dinner times. Food ran out quickly if you didn’t get in line.

The staff is the best! service was awesome! People are very friendly. The beach is good, the pool was nice but closes early. The food wasn't bad.

Its too far from anything. In the middle of no where. Most facilities were closed. Couldn't do arrow shots.

The property was generally clean. There was a very nice receptionist, Francesco, who was very helpful and kind. Close proximity to the beach. Room was spacious.

The hotel lost power on our 7th day, for at least 12 hours starting at around midnight. We were on the 6th floor and the elevator did not work, nor did we have running water. There was no generator, so there was no back up for anything. Including emergency lighting on exit stairs. We asked to check out early, and did before they restored power. They told us, they could only process the refund of the 3 remaining days of our stay, after they got power and they didn’t know when that would be. However, now 2 weeks later, we still haven’t received a refund for the remaining 3 days of our stay. The hotel shuts the AC off every day around 2am and turns it back on mid afternoon. With the heatwave in Sicily, it made it unbearable to sleep. They have no apparent reasoning to do this, other than cutting costs. The food was not great. Very little selection and short time intervals for meals. We were told dinner was between 20:00 to 21:30, but one night we arrived later at 21:15 and there was no more food. Hardly any staff can speak English. Makes it a bit complicated for tourists. The hotel is at least 30 minutes from any stores, restaurants or any type of civilization. The beach is one of the very few in Sicily with colder water. It apparently gets a current that specifically hits only this beach The hotel is very outdated. Looks like it was built in the 70s and hasn’t had any significant updates.

-The place seen from the outside looks not really well maintained -There was no wifi in the rooms -The shower wasn’t working properly on our first day and we couldn’t have a proper shower till the following morning -The water in the toilet always have a weird colour which make you feel like it’s always dirty -If you don’t have a room with balcony the only place to hang your swimsuits and towels is on some common hangers in the corridors’ balconies and they are quite old and rusty -The food was disappointing, there is not much choice and the taste was always quite flat, which you wouldn’t expect especially in a country like Italy -The red wine tasted like water and sugar and there is no way you can order a different bottle while at the restaurant -Some bar staff have been extremely rude, answering things like “I’m here to do this and it’s enough already” when asked to do something like getting some extra ice. Or another example: “I’m just a humble worker, you’re a customer so between us two I think you are the one whom have an advantage” which honestly to me doesn’t make sense at all. I’m paying for a service, I’m not pretending anything extraordinary, just would like to get a kind service to enjoy a holiday I worked for. -They use tons of plastic cups. Imagine how many people just want water because of the heat, as a policy they don’t give you a jug at the bar even if it’s 6 of you, they just keep giving really tiny plastic cups over and over again.

The lady that cleaned our room (6th floor) daily has always been kind and helpful with us The problem with the shower was fixed quickly on the following day The restaurant on the beach is quite nice and the food is much better
