First of all we would like to thank Vincenzo (the host) for his kindness, services and help! He is a rare man, who makes you feel like being guest to a close friend! Now, the room itself was very very clean, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, with many options and great coffee. Having a parking is really helpful. At a very close walking distance from the rooms, there is a supermarket, restaurants and of course the archeological site. You can also walk to one beach in about 10-12 minutes. Overall i cannot recommend it highly enough just from a review! Thank you for everything and we hope to see you again!

The location was easy to find, and the free easy parking for the car was also great. It is 2 minutes walk to the archeological site, and 1km from the city beach front. The host was very communicative and helpful, we talked over WhatsApp. He was able to accommodate our schedule for check in. We are a family of 5, so we stayed in the family room. It has 2 big rooms, ine with 2 single beds and another with a single and a king size double bed. The beds are very comfortable! The shower could be updated but hot water was always available so it was also good. Breakfast was generous with fresh pastry, cheese and cakes, a few options for hot drinks like coffee/tea/hot chocolate and even gluten free alternatives. When you stay, be sure to have dinner at "I Velieri Selinunte Ristorante Pizzeria" on the beach front (arrive early or make a reservation) - their pizzas are owesome and the staff is funny and welcoming. They have gluten free options, The Bomba and Porcelina pizzas are the best we had the entire trip!

Large, cool room with comfortable bed. Partial view of temple opposite. Room had large balcony. Very quiet. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and wide selection of cereals, yoghurt, cold plates and pastries, etc. Staff very helpful and recommended excellent restaurant in hotel nearby with rooftop bar for sunset over the temples and sea at very reasonable discounted price. Ample parking in customer car park

Nothing to dislike.

The property was amazing. There were so many restaurants nearby, the ruins were super close and the staff was amazing. Vincenzo was an amazing host and he makes the best cappuccinos and cannolis! Would definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.

Brilliant location near the bus stop (to/from Castelvetrano). Also across the road from the wonderful archaeological park. The room was large and airy with a huge balcony with chairs and drying rack. The air conditioning was excellent. The breakfast was really good with freshly squeezed orange juice and all sorts of delicious Sicilian treats. On Vincenzo’s recommendation we tried the Boomerang fish restaurant locally. Amazing. 30euros each bought you 6 fish courses, salad, fruit and pudding.

Breakfast was excellent - they were able to meet my gluten-free requirements. They welcomed our dog without an issue. The staff was amazing. The location is walking distance to restaurants, bars, and the Archeological Park.

It's on a busy road so there was some traffic noise. This, of course, is not under the control of the hotel.

The rooms are very nice and are large, with a great shower. Breakfast is wonderful. Vincenzo makes a great cappuccino and the ricotta is the best in all of Italy. If you are going to the Selinunte Archaeological Park, it is right across the road within walking distance. Vincenzo's recommendations for dinner were so good we went back twice. This is our second time staying at Il Tempio Di Hera, and should we return to Selinunte, we'll stay here again!

Everything was great!

First and foremost, the host was excellent and gave me a lift to nearest town as bus service is 'patchy'. He went far beyond what I would normally expect in his welcome and explanations of everything Sounds like a sideline but place itself was excellent with large room with its own terrace.

As far as I was concerned, absolutely nothing.

The location close to the Archeological Park and restaurants was very convenient, as was the onsite parking. The room was large, as was the bathroom. The bed was very big and comfortable. We were very warmly welcomed by Vincenzo, who also made good restaurant recommendations. Everything was clean and generally well maintained. We enjoyed a good night's sleep despite closeness to the main road - we didn't notice any excessive noise. The breakfast was simple but adequate, and the coffee was excellent.

The room lacked comfortable seating (other than the bed there were only some straight back chairs), the decor was a bit dated (but you could also call it quirky and consider it a positive), and the shower screen leaked some water onto the bathroom floor. However, the many positives far outweighed those few minor negatives.
