The peace, surrounded by nature, beautiful decor and landscape, wonderful pool area with dedicated toilet and shower, restaurant that serves good food and wine, the confortable room incl. aircon and minifridge, the kindness of the staff and especially Marco, Lauren and Giuglia. It is also well located in Menfi if you're looking to do some wine tourism, as there are many vineyards offering tastings nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Masseria del Carboj, it is definitely a place to return!

To make this extraordinary place even better (if that's even possible :)) I would just make it adults-only. Nothing against children but a place like this deserves more appreciation of silence and nature to offer a truly relaxing gettaway (and very romantic one too).

We had the best time staying here. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spotless and had excellent air conditioning. The grounds and the pool was perfect - we spent a few days just dipping in and out! But most of all the hospitality was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and we felt so well looked after, everything we asked for was never any trouble and we felt so welcome. The food at the restaurant was amazing, and the breakfasts were just brilliant.

There really wasn't anything!

First of all, a huge thank you to you, Marco, and your team. You made our stay unforgettable. You welcomed us in the car park, then invited us for an aperitif and advised us throughout our stay. I have travelled a lot around the world, but I have rarely experienced such a warm and generous host. You put your heart and soul into looking after your guests and your team is also very motivated and gives its best. It was simply the most beautiful hotel and also the best experience with you: The location is beautiful, idyllic in the countryside and the atmosphere is fantastic. I am still blown away, even though our stay was a month ago. I would advise anyone visiting Sicily to spend at least one - or even better, several - nights at Marco's and have dinner there too - it's unbelievably good! You will never forget your stay.

The hotel is situated on a hill and offers a wonderful view of the countryside and the sea. We stayed in the suite and were able to enjoy the characterful and beautiful historic rooms. There is a highly recommended restaurant in the hotel with Sicilian cuisine. The atmosphere (in October) was very quiet and relaxing, and the staff's friendliness was particularly pleasant.

The immediate area was a bit off-putting outside the tourist season due to the predominance of closed shops and empty places. However, if you are prepared for this in advance, you can simply spend a good time at the pool in the hotel or go on longer excursions

The property, swimmingpool, room, restaurant, food and drinks were all amazing! But what made our stay unforgettable was the great service of Marco and his team, who paid attention to every detail to make our stay amazing. We will Definitely come back!

Nothing, everything was perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at the Masseria. The facility is beautiful, very well maintained and laid out with great attention to detail and with lots of little cozy corners to sit in. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful and the view of the sea is amazing. The food in the restaurant and the wine and olive oil from the Masseria were excellent, as well as the breakfast and the drinks by the pool. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly and we felt very comfortable and very well looked after at all times. I can only recommend a stay here and would come back at any time! The staff really do go above and beyond to make you feel welcome when you arrive and throughout your stay. We were greeted with a glass of their own wine which was superb and which we continued to order throughout our stay. The staff are always eager to ensure your stay is the best it can be and nothing was too much trouble. We dined in the restaurant on each of our 3 nights and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The swimming pool and grounds were peaceful, tranquil and very relaxing. It's perfect for an authentic sicilian countryside stay.

Our stay at Masseria del Carboj was truly exceptional! Marco and his team went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and the cooking class with chef Giuseppe was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant on-site served delicious meals, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chef. The premises and surrounding area were stunning, offering picturesque views and a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was also excellent, providing a variety of tasty options to start the day. Highly recommend for a perfect getaway!

Our only regret was not booking more nights. Everything was perfect!
