It’s really more a hotel or Bed and Breakfast than a hostel because you do get your own private modern bathroom plus hearty Asian breakfast style comes with the stay! Love the heated floors, comfortable firm bed, rain shower faucet, nice hot showers appreciated during my cold winter stay. Close walking distance to the S2 train, bus 919 and the express train is about 15 min walk away from the hotel located in the small historic district. Driver service for small fee is also available.

Beautiful place to be if you are going to visit The Great Wall. Very nice Staff. Proper Toilets, Shower all you need for a short Stay.

it‘s sweet place, the staff was super nice and it was easy to get around. Also, it was no problem to check-in as foreigners and the heating in the room was good as it had a floor heating. The main hall was rather cold, but they put on an oven for us. It can be reached easily from the train station and it’s less than a 5 minutes walk into the “old” town. we totally recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing stay for those looking for an authentic place near the great wall. The breakfast was amazing and extremely filling. The key highlight was the staff - they were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help you get settled and introduce you to the surroundings. It genuinely felt like I was staying with relatives. 10/10 would recommend

The hostel exceeded my expectations, it was like a 3 star hotel. Very clean, specious room. The location was great, 10min walk to the Great Chinese wall entrance. The host was really polite and always responded to our questions promptly. She did try her very best to assist with everything she could even with her limited knowledge of English.

Lovely hotel a short walk (20min) from the Badaling Great Wall. The staff were very helpful and got us tickets to visit the wall at night. The rooms, the entrance and the main hall were all beautifully decorated. Would recommend.

Their English is not good but they always use a translator.

Beds were very hard like anywhere in China. I just asked for another comforter to sleep on. It was fine.

Privacy could be improved - as room is right next to the restaurant, I could hear everything that went on outside (and vice versa). Better sound isolation would be nice.

The service is unbeatable, very kind and helpful. They always try their best to make our stay confortable. The experienece was unforgettable and we recommend this place to sleep if you want to visit the great wall 100%. We will repeat for sure.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Cosy room adjacent to a semi-heated courtyard. The heated floors in the room were AMAZING! Outside -10, inside toasty +20. And I mean, the floor was actually almost hot.

Personally, I guess I'm not a fan of the traditional Chinese breakfast, but it was nice experience to try it, anyway.
