The staff was amazing, the hotel is really nice, plenty of facilities. The location is also good. We travelled with public transport and the bus stop is just a bunch of minutes away. What I personally didn't like is the mattress, too soft and I woke up every day with back pain. If one doesn't want to spend too much for eating there, there is a cheaper alternative nearby. One more thing: the Finnish sauna has a dodgy door that closes only applying force, which most of the people didn't do and therefore the door was always a bit open, so the next guest going there was not having a great sauna time. Hopefully they will fix it.

The room was very spacious, the bed comfortable but was a bit surprised that the room looked like it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned upon check in. One of the towels had very obviously been used. We noticed, too that during the 4 days we were there not once had the corridor on our floor been vacuumed as there were bits of tissue and sand and dirt on the carpeting. Because many guests bring their dogs and the because of the close proximity to a sandy beach one would assumed that it would be vacuumed daily. The breakfast buffet was so so. Parking fee expensive. And there was a 12,50€ charge for bathrobe and slippers. In other hotels we’ve stayed at this was offered in the price of the room. There’s definitely room for improvement.

Despite being a large hotel, the lounge bar and restaurant were calm and relaxing. The room was large with nice view and comfy bed and shower. So woken up gently, after a extensive tasty breakfast, you can discover the lovely surroundings on foot or bike. The rental bikes were of good quality.

As the hotel is rather large, you expect a large wellness area, but the sauna and steam bath were small (like max 4 people). The room itself was large, but not cosy, missed some furniture or decorations. In contrast to the breakfast, the dinner both at the bar and restaurant wasn’t truly good quality, not bad neither, just medium. For instance, all the main dishes have the same cooked veggies, which were rather cold.

Rook was huge and very comfortable with everything needed; breakfast was wonderful - lots of options and delicious and my kids LOVED the pool which was always accessible, clean and fun.

I asked for the room to be cleaned one day before we left and unfortunately it looked as it only towels were changed (sheets not changed, no new toilet paper or tissues so we ran out, etc.) which was not ideal but maybe they were waiting to do a bigger clean after we checked out which is understandable in some ways but also would have been nice to feel we were still getting the extra care.

Beautiful hotel. Nice, clean and spacious room. Nice swimming pool and spa. Delicious breakfast.

Just 1 tea bag in the room. Not enough staff, or not attentive enough. Had to wait 15 minutes before they got our drink order at the bar lounge. Roomservice dishes on the 2d floor of the hotel floor. We walked past it a few times. It was there for more than 24 houres. Should have been picked up. Makes a messy impression of the hotel. Which is ashame as it is a lovely and for the rest clean hotel.

I loved the lounge. The hotel was also very pet friendly, which made it a perfect stay with our dog. We will definitely bring him again. And although there were a lot of dogs, the hotel feels really quite and very relaxing. I also like that you could eat in the lounge at specially reserved tables for dog owners.

The only thing that could be better was that for breakfast, there was nothing on the tables, no pepper, no salt, no olive oil. We also missed salad on the buffet. The rest was nice though.

Spacious hotel with the feeling of luxury. Lobby very big, but felt private enough. Dogs very welcome, nice quiet rooms. Good beds, good breakfast. Beautiful surroundings, near beach.

Hard to find the elevator, desk for check in/out too small and not very welcoming, no coffeemachine in the room, toilet seat loose, slippery floor at swimming pool, decoration of lobby and breakfast room way too much. All walls differ from colour, seats have different print, floor different print, too, too much of everything..

the location is lovely. it is peaceful and located in a nice village with a nice variety of restaurants around. my partner and i went to one of the other islands of Zeeland to the beach by car with ease. the staff was friendly and professional. the beds are soft and the room is a very good size for the price we payed for it.

the shower gel/shampoo provided was not exactly our scent, but that is our opinion. also the free coffee provided in the room (capsules from a little machine) is really.... not good....

Spa element needs some looking after. Broken pool stair, broken steamcabin , empty drinking water reservoir. Breakfast is well taken care of but I had to beg with four different staffmembers for getting an espresso. I understand the extra charges for that but I do not appreciate a simple answer 'no espresso, use the vendor machine'; The espresso machine was up and running, staff simply refused to use it (instructions from hierarchy)
