We were given a lovely greeting by Caterina on reception. Our case was taken up to our room whilst we signed in. A welcome bottle of wine and a large bowl of fruit were provided. The room was large, very clean, had a kitchenette, a very comfortable bed, and a balcony with a lovely view to the beach and sea. The bathroom was spacious. Everything was modern and tasteful. There were about 20 steps up to the room and 80 more to the beach, so bear that in mind if mobility is an issue. Beach towels were provided. The beach is very clean, and the fine sand is gently shelving into the sea. We found it lovely for swimming in early May. Several beach bars were open, providing sun beds, although the Pictures Suites beach bar and sunbeds were not open this early in the season. The hotel swimming pool looked lovely although we didn't use it. The balcony was large enough to eat at the table there. There was on-site car parking for a few cars which had to be booked in advance. I'm not sure about how easy roadside parking would be as the road to the property is quite narrow. There are several restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Breakfast had to be pre-ordered from a large menu the evening before. Taken by the pool, the breakfast was delicious, served by the very friendly and helpful Giorgios, brother to Caterina. Although we only stayed one night, we were treated royally, and we left thinking we would have liked to stay longer.

Mosquitos got into the room. A plug in insecticide machine is provided, but we don't like using them. There are mosquito screens on the balcony doors, but we didn't keep them closed as we should have. We noticed there were no pans in the kitchen should anyone wish to cook. I suspect they would be provided if you asked. The quality of the place is very high and, in high season, the high prices put it out of our budget. I thought the just over €200 a night that we paid in May was fine.

Our booked suite for 2 people is superbly equipped. A second separate toilet is particularly pleasant. The fridge was filled with drinks and drinking water was replenished daily. Room service couldn't have been better. Our suite had a magnificent view of the pool and the sea. The pool area and the entire complex are well maintained. We were given fluffy towels for swimming in the pool or sea, and loungers and parasols right by the water invited us to stay at the beach. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service - the entire team was extremely friendly and attentive. The breakfast was magnificent, with a wide selection of fresh food and drinks to suit every taste. Upon request, breakfast, snacks and drinks were served on our sea-view balcony. We felt completely pampered and will definitely come back. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

Great hosts and amazing, hospitable people. The staff is very friendly and helpful, ensuring that you are well taken care of. Manager Dora was fantastic. The food was great too, with a good variety, including some tasty traditional dishes (Dakos salad and kleftiko were our favourites). The hotel offers stunning views, and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets from the terrace. If you want to spend time on the beach, it’s just a 3-minute walk down the stairs. Hotel guests can enjoy complimentary umbrellas and sunbeds. We really enjoyed our time and only wish we could have stayed longer.

Lena and her staff Liza George and Dora are the true gems of this place and that’s not to say the rest of the package isn’t absolutely fantastic. They are the most warm genuine and accommodating hosts Iv ever encountered. I was travelling with my 1 year old baby and they all made us so welcome. When it came to leave I felt sad like I was leaving a family home, but one of complete luxury. The view is so breathtaking be sure to stay in a balcony room to get the full effect of mountains to one side incredible blue ocean on the other. The attention to detail with the service is so thorough I really felt so well looked after and that they held the enjoyment of our stay and precious holiday with great value.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pictures Suites. It is the most beautiful place, the views are spectacular and the rooms are so comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean, one of the best on the Island I’m sure, if not the best. They have everything you could need for your stay. On arrival, we received a very warm welcome from our lovely hosts, and I could immediately feel myself start to decompress! It is so relaxing here and I felt so at ease. Nia and her team also welcomed us with complimentary drinks, fruit and a bottle of wine, which was a lovely treat. We were blown away with our room and the spectacular views of Agios Stefanos beach and the Diapontia Islands. The sun sets magnificently over the islands every evening, not to be missed! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the special omelette is highly recommended. We did not eat dinner in the hotel but the breakfast, lunches and snacks were perfect and reasonably priced for such a beautiful hotel. Bottled water, more than you could ever need, is provided complimentary by the hosts. The most special thing about Picture Suites is the staff. The host Nia and her team are beautiful people, so genuinely kind, friendly and warm. They went above and beyond to help us on a couple of occasions and I will never forget it. This makes all the difference. Agios Stefanos itself is a beautiful place. A little further away from most of the other more popular resorts and an hours drive from the airport. I would recommend that you rent a car if you can to get about and really explore the area, however you would need to be very confident with driving on the right and with narrow bendy roads. I was worried at first that my two teenagers would be bored as it’s a quiet resort, but they absolutely loved the chilled out atmosphere, the pool, beautiful beach and lovely restaurants. We also did a boat trip from the harbour and took a taxi to Corfu town to explore the beautiful sights there for the day.

Nothing, loved it all

We visited the property just now out of season in late October. The only negative is the pools are not heated. I have to emphasise this is the only negative- everything about this place is top notch - the views, the room, details, attention. They made our stay so personable and even went out of their way to help us with food/breakfast times. I would 100% anyone to go here!! This is a fantastic place to stay! Best coffee and cocktails INCREDIBLE !!!

Just the pool heating - but this wouldn’t be an issue in the summer

The position is amazing. Great beach with sand and amazing sunsets. The room was spacious. The view amazing. The host was nice and welcoming.

Too expensive for what it offers. We took it with two weeks maybe this affected the price. We did not like the light in the bathroom which had a sensor and it was pretty blind. The Wi-fi was not really working even though they tried to fix it. Also the breakfast… we had to cross check on a piece of paper every morning what we wanted to eat.

Owner and staff felt like family. Very responsive to requests. Great views, wonderful pool, close to good restaurants. Intimate and quiet location

The system for ordering dinner/breakfast. While i understand it’s a small hotel with slim margins, we never ate dinner there (though we would have liked to) because you have to place your order the previous evening and give a time. Hard to know what I want to eat and when on a vacation like this. I think it would be worth it to find a system that works for the hotel and provides more flexibility to guests.

Everything about this propery is a 10/10. It is loacted above on the edge of a beautiful beach . The views of the bay are absolutely stunning. There are several beach bars and beachside restaurants within a few minutes walk along the beach and all the meals we had were excellent and very resonably prices. We were served breakfast, by Costas , beside the pool every morning that we had pre-ordered thenight before . There was a vast , delicious selcetion of just about everything you could think of. The staff are exceptional in every way and did everything they could to make our stay the very best it could be. Costas was so attentive and even brought us chilled water to drink by the pool each day. The owner,Nia ,was awlays on hand to help in any way she could- a really lovely lady.This included arranging our airport transfer with Spiros, who I would highly reommend as being a lovely man and very reasonably priced. The apartment was spacious and beaitifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. There are only 7 apartments and some days we were the only guests at the pool - did I mention the pool ?... outstanding ! The village is 5 minutes walk away - slightly longer if you get there via the beach. Quite a few nice restaurants and bars but nothing too wild !

There really was nothing to dislike

The property is on a spectacular cliff above a long sandy beach. Although there is a set of about 80 steps to reach the beach from the pool area it is well worth it. The staff particularly, Dora and George are wonderful hosts. The breakfast was varied and could include a range of options. The room was large and comfortable.
