This hotel has THE VIEW! It’s a huge room and a very comfortable bathroom. It’s very silent, full of birds singing freely and happily. It’s walking distance from the main attraction which is The Shrine of Our Lady of Loreto and the Holy House. The breakfast was very good. Woth many options. There is a parking which is very near the reception.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt at home. The room was spotless and featured all the amenities I could ask for – including a very comfortable bed and a stunning view. The location was ideal. I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to return!

The Hotel is quite close to the Sanctuary of Loreto and about 15 mins. by car to the nearest beach. It is within some lovely woodland grounds and appears to have ample outside parking. Although the hotel’s interior gives the impression of having aged, with stained carpets at the lobby, and the rooms could do with a good paint job, especially near the windows, it was very clean and comfortable with complimentary tea/coffee facilities and a small fridge. Maintenance of ventilation appears to be done well, a modern bathroom with excellent shower etc. The breakfast area was comfortable, spacious, bright, and adequately stocked for a nice morning meal. Again, helpful and attentive, welcoming staff. All in all, a nice experience and at a very reasonable price for a family of three. The hotel deserves some finishes maintenance works.

Clean, great view, spacious room, good breakfast, professional & friendly staff.

For an elderly couple, quite a distance to sanctuary & town square over hilly terrain. Add to this, there is only ONE SINGLE taxi in the whole of Loreta! For elderly couple with no car, I would recommend a hotel closer to the shrine… Our most significant issue was NO HEAT in our room in November & 11degC at night!

Hotel San Francesco, Loreto, Le Marche. Oct. 19th & 20th, 2022 Hotel type- for business and special occasions. Friendly and efficient staff. Room: comfortable bed, fantastic panoramic view of Santuario della Casa Santa di Loreto.. Onsite parking. Breakfast buffet- good selection of items. Show up early for scrambled eggs. They also have hard boiled eggs if you are late. A plate with sliced cucumbers? Evidently German guests like them with breakfast. The hotel is not too far from Piazza della Madonna, sporting a wonderful dragon fountain, on the way to the Santuario, which has a Brunelleschi style dome. Take Via Vanvitelli up the hill the post office, behind that is a pedestrian vicolo, starting at Porta Romana. Follow that down to Piazza Madonna. Along this pedestrian route you will find restaurants, religious tchotchkes shops, herbalist, aeronautical museum, pasticceria, cafes, hotels and B&Bs and more. Hotel San Francesco is also a good base for a day trip to Recanati, a brick hill town, home of famous poet Giacomo Leopardi. If you are driving, they have the most beautiful parking facility for visitors, Parcheggio Centro Città 2.0.

Bathroom could use a good scrub, especially the shower.

We got there before the check in time and they let us store our suitcases there, and gave us a map to the city and a very good recommendation for a place to have lunch. After the check in we had dinner and drinks and they were all very good. The people working there were very attentive and friendly and we were able to go to the terrace to enjoy the view to the Basilica!

The only downside was that one of our rooms was next to one of the elevators, so every time that someone used it during the night we could hear the loud noise it made when it got to our floor, but out of that it was all perfect!

The staff was very nice and attentive with us. The breakfast was completed with lot of options. There was a beautiful view of the trees, birds, city and the sanctuary. It was a very silent place and we could heard the birds singing in the trees.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work very well in the 4th floor.

It was so peaceful and the people were also very homey. That is to say, we were treated as if we were in a friends home. The breakfast and dinner were perfect. We slept so well in their beds. The desk woman was like a princess! None of this exaggerated. My mother and I have traveled a lot and were extremely pleased. She wishes she could have stayed longer.

This hotel is situated overlooking Loreto. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is satisfying. We were within walking distance of all areas we wanted to visit. There is a beautiful terrace at the top with spectacular views. We will definitely be returning.

Breakfast was not worthy for a four star hotel, monotonous and very basic, even by italian standards. Wifi was spotty and slow most of the time. Only one(!) usable plug socket in the whole bedroom. The hotel and the rooms are a bit dated, rather three star standard, not four. The hotel is a bit rigid, more flowers and more decor would be appreciated.(I know it was a monastery but still.)
