We spent two amazing weeks here. We took the boat transfer to the resort, that we don’t recommend if you have a weak stomach. We were in the beach accommodation. The room was spacious, cleaned and with all the necessary amenities. The buffet food of the all inclusive was good and varied, with plenty of options for all the tastes. They cater perfectly for allergies and always make sure you are satisfied with the options or if want something made to order. The swimming pool was closed since they were fixing it, but it was not a big issue since we went there for the beach and sea. The beach was cleaned daily for the debris that comes with the changing tides, and the house reef was good, specially in high tide. We went for massage at the spa and highly recommend it. The masseuse are very professional and very nice. There were activities every day, so you are never bored. There were plenty of tours available for booking at the usual price in Maldives resorts. All the staff is really nice and welcoming always available to help, that makes your stay very comfortable. I highly recommend this resort and hope to be back next year.

The rooms on the beach are divided on two floors so depending on who your “neighbours” are it can get quite noisy and uncomfortable since you can hear everything… The cocktail list form the all inclusive could be better.

We stayed at Cinnamon Resort for one week and had an amazing time! The place is tranquil and peaceful, offering breathtaking views of the turquoise water. The beaches and underwater world are incredibly beautiful, and the overall island is walkable and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. I would like to particularly highlight the housekeeper from room 410; he was exceptional and always attentive to our little one. Dining was satisfactory, with a high variety of food options, including seafood and meat on different evenings. The local cuisine and delicious fruits were particularly outstanding. At the bar, there were numerous cocktail options made with quality alcohol! Here are some areas for improvement for a ***** hotel: - Unfortunately, we booked a beach villa, but upon arrival, it was unavailable, and we were given a water bungalow instead. We were later informed that this was only an upgrade for two nights, which was not mentioned during check-in. This was frustrating, as we would have never agreed to that, especially with a baby, as it would have required us to move during our vacation. Fortunately, the manager resolved the issue and kept us in the same room. - The baby cot was not set up in our room, and the resort does not provide a baby mattress. The housekeeper was nice enough to make a mattress from a duvet. - The barbecue evening was priced at an additional $150, and the same type of fish was available the following day as part of the all-inclusive dinner, which felt strange. - I recommend adding hooks for towels in the villas. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and with these improvements, it could easily be even better!

The location and the water villas were stunning, the see-it-all snorkeling day trip was amazing, the spa was great and the live music at the bar was nice. The all-inclusive package was not great and misleading - it did not include drinks or food at the villa - and the main charm of the ocean villa is that you can spend most time there without needing to walk 10 min to bar or restaurant (or paying extra for everything). It also did not include any of the a-la-carte restaurants, just the buffet, which was ok but nothing special. If it would be marketed as half-board, it would be ok, but for that price there are better “real” all-inclusive options.

It is the most amazing and unmatched place in the world... then we had the BEST STAFF to mention some- Chamil, Sheila and Eema ( reception), Shamveel ( at the restaurant), Nisaam ( making our water bungalow clean) , Zameera ( sweeping the white sand every morning). They are all very friendly,very accommodating, very respectful, very hardworking. Also, foods are very delicious- too many choices- best fresh fruit smoothies. My sister had a problem opening a bottled water in the middle of the night, called reception and a staff came right away to help. We rate the staff service 11/10- the best ever we've been to. We've been traveling around the world and this resort IS THE BEST. We enjoyed our water bungalow, snorkeling, jet ski , island hopping, watching the dolphins and swimming every day near our bungalow. SPA is the best also. When we departed via seaplane, many staff were there to bid goodbye and to say thank you to us. What a heartfelt scenario. Eema even gave us packed breakfast sandwich complete with fresh fruits and juices. FRIENDS, go and EXPERIENCE the hospitality and service of Cinnamom Velifushi. See you all soon again... Our 1 week vacation is over.

The restaurant staff were exceptional, I'm sorry I don't remember all names but Shamvuel, Humaid, Ibrahim, Ali, Nabeel, Hameesh were superb, as was Chau, the friendliest head chef ever. Food was excellent. The dive centre staff were also fantastic, thanks Samir, Navaz and the wonderful boat crew.

On all inclusive I'd appreciate wine in the Minibar. Soft drinks and beer were available in limited amounts in Minibar but I don't drink either. I'd booked a watervilla to use it, not go to the bar. Such a shame the seafood restaurant is no more. Beautiful location just empty.

The hotel’s location was satifying, offering the opportunity to enjoy the pristine white sandy beach while also exploring vibrant coral reefs on the other side. The tropical landscaping and sandy walkways enhanced the overall experience, making our stay in the Maldives even more special. We stayed in a water villa, and it was wonderful to have a net where we could lie down and enjoy the ocean breeze. The staff was incredibly kind—every team member was truly lovely. The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of options in the open buffet.

While the resort itself was beautiful and peaceful, we did encounter one issue that affected our overall experience. The constant sound of machinery from the back-of-house area, heard throughout the day and night, was a bit disruptive and unfortunately caused some discomfort. We came to the Maldives seeking relaxation and the natural tranquility of birds and waves, so the persistent noise was a bit surprising. We hope this can be addressed, as everything else about the resort was wonderful.

Absolutely everything, definitely found paradise and we will be back. The amazing service especially from Martin in the restaurant, fabulous food and epic sunset villa exceeded both my husband and my expectations. The snorkelling straight from our villa had an abundance of marine life which made me feel like l was in my own marine land. Even though the Island was 100% occupancy you wouldn’t know it as it wasn’t crowded and you felt like you were on your own private island. The massage from the day spa is the best l have ever had and the guys who ran the nurse shark tour were professional and a lot of fun. We’ve travelled a lot and have stayed at 5 star resorts but Cinnamon Velifushi tops our list, so much so we had to stay an extra night. Thank you so much for making my 50th birthday celebration a birthday l will never forget.🩵

There is no Rinser or bidet I don’t know what is called by your language but it’s very important for the toilet thing

The food options were fantastic, the staff were so friendly and everywhere was clean and tidy.

The restricted list of cocktails from 'all inclusive' vs 'premium all inclusive' - can't see how you can have tequila on the all inclusive but not margaritas etc... The pool does look tired and needs some TLC but it's a big job and to be fair it is still useable as it is.
