I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at Savanh Restaurant for demonstrating the true essence of hospitality during our recent visit. The professionalism exhibited by Chef Francis and his culinary team in creating remarkable dishes was complemented by their warm welcoming atmosphere. From our arrival at the Desert Island Resort to our check-out, the team handled our experience with exceptional care and attention, earning a well-deserved 10/10 rating. Moreover, I commend the restaurant supervisor Olio and the check-in team for their exemplary service, equally deserving of high praise. However, as i have a large experience in Owning boutique hotels and Mega yachts charter company in middle east and Europe and Hospitality group of restaurants in UAE and Europe I would like to address a concern regarding the exclusivity of Olio Restaurant, primarily catering to Al Yam guests. During our visit, the restaurant felt underutilized, as we encountered only a handful of occupied tables on a weekend. While the staff's demeanor was commendable, it seemed they lacked hands-on experience, highlighting the need for more regular practice. I suggest allowing more resort guests or Anantara loyalty members as dimond members and platinum members access to Olio to enhance overall dining occupancy and provide varied experiences, ensuring an engaging atmosphere. Additionally, while the facilities at Al Yam promise exclusivity, we observed that certain aspects, such as gym equipment, remain outdated. And Al yam Guest pool is outdated as well al yam will need few more touches to make the place a great experience for guests i encourage thoughtful consideration of these matters to enhance overall guest experience, as our visits to Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island have always been delightful.

The Island is amazing. Safari with Jafra was great. Beautiful animals. Dinesh kept our room in perfect shape

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were offered some biscuits and water upon arrival at the jetty. Everything was on time. The service was good, the room was really nice. On our way back to the airport, our taxi did not show up so the hotel staff called their driver to take us to the airport on short notice at a reasonable price. I was 6 months pregnant at the time and everyone was very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Over all facilities and room & amenities were excellent.. Above all the exemplary service by the staff and their hospitality need to be plauded.. Want to specifically thank and praise the staff Citra(Front office) , Mounir(Wildlife drive) , Jaffer(Kayaking) and the Horseriding staff to name few...they treated us like royals Food @Palm,Oleo was finglerlicking good too.. Over all, was the best stay cation ever for me and children.. Will recommend to anyone...

The activities could have priced as package options to bring down the costs..

The service was exceptional, with professional and friendly staff who went above and beyond, offering extended excursions and room upgrades. The location is breathtaking, surrounded by lush forests and abundant wildlife. The east-side beach boasts the cleanest water we’ve experienced in the UAE. Additionally, the resort offers exquisite fine dining, featuring a variety of gourmet dishes in a stunning setting.

The island is great, and it really fells like a getway. It is much bigger than we expected. I enjoyed learning about the history and love the aims for the island to be self sustainable, in producing its own energy, some of its food as well supporting endangered animals, creating a complete ecosystem for nature. All that with the amazing hospitality of Anantara! There were 2 lovely restaurants by the villas, especially liked Olio, both with great food. The service everywhere was great and with lovely staff. Great to be able to move between the various locations. Loved seeing gazelles and peacocks roaming around everywhere.

The main restaurant (pool restaurant - Shams) at the Desert Island resort could be improved. Breakfast was nice, but the rest of the meals ok, but there is room for better selection and quality. As the main restaurant it is a bit lacking for lunch and dinner (becomes very repetitive). The diving center needs to be better organised so that dives happen as planned (significant delays).

The property location and the amenities are very good.

The maintenance of the property is not good. The cleanliness to be improved. It's sandy area, hence the maintenance team need to think differently to control the sand. Plant grasses near the swimming pool in the villa instead of stone and trees. Overall the maintenance need to improve without any shortcuts.

They definitely have a great team, everyone is excellent in the service, fast and very friendly. The most fastest check-in. Nice place to connect with the nature.

The timings for the activities, like kayaking, bicycle, would be great if can be anytime

1. The beach was rough and with full of stones, so difficult to swim. Built a lagoon will be a best option. 2. It will be always good and hygienic to keep a bin cover inside the metal bin in room/ toilet.

We enjoyed that it was an island vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The employees were all friendly, professional and helpful. From check-in until we had to leave. We enjoyed some spa treatments, went on the game drive, visited all the different restaurants and experience the different cuisine on the island. It was an adventure for us. They made our stay really memorable. Thank you.
