The staff are amazing, so helpful, kind and flexible organising the tours. Tour guide speaks perfect English and they tell you all the rapa nui history! I would highly recommend this hotel! The room is huge and very comfy. The sea view is perfect to wake up to in the morning. Only a 5 minute walk to town, but the hotel has wonderful barbecues in the evening. Its a great place to meet and mingle with the locals and other guests at the hotel.

The staff were what made our stay so great. They helped us out with booking trips around the island, include a sunrise visit of the Moai statues and an evening Rapa Nui cultural dance show. They were always friendly, smiling and helpful. Our room's air conditioning worked very well, so we were able to sleep well.

The hotel is a little bit worn around the edges, but if you don't mind that you'll have a great stay. You can see that surface cleaning is done by the cleaning staff, but our room was in need of a good deep clean to freshen it up.

This is a very unique hotel. A little aging, but many of the glorious features are present: Very large front and back lobby, nicely decorated. Game room for kids. Very large dining hall for breakfast. The food is very fresh and delicious. Very large outside deck with the ocean and mountain views. Very friendly staff. A couple of minutes from the grossery, and 10 minutes walk to downtown. I got a queen sized bed. Very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great location with sea view if you manage to get a room on that side. However we had booked a room with garden view, it was rather damp and the garden view was nonexistent due to work. We asked and got a free upgrade to the sunny sea side, that strongly affected my appreciation!

The breakfast was not the best but okay for *** hotel - no yoghurt, no fresh orange juice, only white bread. And the hotel rooms in the main building had their best time, need renovation.

Wonderful friendly hotel with great staff. Location is very good. The waterfront and main town street is all within walking distance. Also there is a great supermarket very nearby. The hotel does pick-up and drop off at the airport which is lovely. I did a 2 day tour organised by the hotel which I highly recommend. All in all a very good choice.

The room is okay albeit a bit old. Breakfast is minimal and the coffee is very watery. WiFi in room is non-existent- something that can be sorted out quite easily. For what you get it is expensive but Easter Island / Rapa Nui generally is and it is a trip of a lifetime.

The breakfast was excellent and the location was perfect. The staff (Feña, Nico and the other guys) were super friendly and help me with every question I had during my vacations. They receive each guest with a flower necklace at the airport and before we leave the hotel they gave us a CD with Rapa Nui music and a shell necklace... what a lovely gesture!

Wifi was not available in the rooms, only in common areas of the hotel. They don't have hammocs (it would be perfect considering the type of hotel and location, it would really improve the experience if you want to rest and relax) Some days my room wasn't ready to use even at 3 pm due to cleaning service delays.

It was a very relaxed place with large communal spaces, a bit like being at home. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would recommend the day tours which can be organised from there. Airport transfers were included and breakfast was good. It's a very short walk to the main street so it's very convenient. The hotel maybe older but it represents good value for money.

Maybe the wifi needs to be improved as it was only available in some parts of the hotel.

Hotel Tupa was great ! It’s not a fancy 5 star resort, just a nice family ? Run hotel . Great location , ocean view from most rooms, a little rough around the edges, but just what we were looking for. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast was good ( meat cheese fruit cereal toast juice) what more do you need. We took 2 tours through the hotel, both were fantastic, good knowledgeable drivers/ guides reasonable prices learned so much. A little on going renovations making it even better.

Wi if is only in the common areas, just took a little adjustment.

Very helpful staff, they arranged sightseeing tours, answered questions, etc. Clean room with lots of light, comfortable bed. Daily touch up housekeeping. Location close to town center. Reliable Starlink internet in common areas. Breakfast included pastries, fruit, cheese, cold cuts, cereal. As a solo traveler, I enjoyed meeting hotel guests on the tours, at breakfast, etc., and the hotel setup makes it easy to connect with other travelers. Overall, solid value.

See positive comments above, I was satisfied, especially for the price paid compared to other options researched. Realize this is a budget accommodation - a bit rustic with well worn / outdated furnishings, somewhat musty, 1 cockroach in shower, internet only in common areas (allowed me to talk with other travelers!).

The staff is very friendly, the location is excellent.

All of the good service is forgotten when you realize that the shower does not have hot water for a single bath. You have to wait for it to get hot, and then, at the middle of the shower, it gets cold. And you have to wait inside for the hot water to run again.
