This hotel exceeded our expectations. It is situated at a road with a lot of traffic on workdays. Everything else is absolutely excellent : helpfull staff, cleanness, room size, beds comfortable, breakfast fresh pressed juice, bread etc. The restaurant is sought not only by hotel guests but also locals and passing drivers value the food quality here. You get a good nights sleep here. It is a good base for exploring Caravaca and as a stopover. We highly recommend this hotel. Note that the restaurant is closed at night.

As soon as we entered the reception area we could sense the cleanliness of the hotel, the room was just the same. The cleaners did a wonderful job every day we were there. We stayed at The Malena because we were visiting nearby friends. It is handy because it is on a main road, and you only have to go a few miles either way to get to restaurants and cafes. We had food and drinks from the attached bar a few times, but on this occasion we didn't have a main meal.

Modern, well appointed rooms of an ample size. Plenty of parking. Excellent for a traveller needing an overnight stay and no facilities apart from the bedroom. Good wifi.

The hotel has no facilities apart from a bar that is open at breakfast (and is highly popular with locals). No other bar/restaurant within walking distance but one not too far away by car.

I had a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable everything was perfectly maintained. In short: excellent service, clean rooms, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again!

This Is more than a 2 stars hotel: my room was actually a suite, with the living room entrance and the bed in the bottom of the room. 2 balconies, 12 sqm bathroom with hydromassage. Couldn't believe I was getting this for the price I paid. This really deserve at least 3 stars, congratulations Hotel Malena!

Recently renovated rooms, clean and tidy, quite spacious. The double bed was comfortable and large (unlike most double beds in Spain). Plenty of free parking in front of the hotel. The price was good.

The location outside the city means that you cannot use public transport and must use a car. English is not spoken so get ready to practice your Spanish.

Quiet. Everything was provided (air-condition, shampoo/soap, towels, water, kettle - to make tea/coffee, TV...)

7km from town centre. Although it was ok for me as I had a car. Please navigate by the map on Booking.com as the address stated when copied onto GoogleMap led me to a residential area that was not the site of the hotel.

Clean comfortable room. Large parking lot. We arrived at night, the staff were already sleeping, so we woke them up, they barely speak English. Morning staff spoke fluent English

A very basic breakfast was available at a nearby restaurant. You cannot put food in yourself. You need to order, but there is no menu at all.

Large room with comfortable bed. Quiet at night. Even a coffee maker in the room! Helpful staff on reception. The hotel offers exceptional value for money.
