Run by the lovely Paul, this homely B&B offers comfy rooms with great views of lochs and mountains. The facilities are great, the breakfast amazing and the hosts couldn't do more. We stayed three nights and followed their recommendations to lovely sights and beaches. The numerous ducks and chickens produce copious eggs for breakfast, I had two poached duck eggs on toast (with beans, mushrooms , tomatoes and hash brown), done to perfection. The bed was super comfortable, a great shower in the en-suit, great TV and views I photographed many times. We'd definitely stay here again.

A lovely warm welcome from our hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The room was very well equipped. There was a vast selection of hot drink supplies in the room with a kettle & also a silent fridge which was ideal for our picnic supplies for the next day! The bathroom & shower were both spacious with lots of hot water & fluffy towels. There was a socket tower at the side of the bed with space for multiple 3 pin & USB plugs, ideal for getting everything charged for the next day. The first time I have seen one of these in a B&B & it was a total bonus! Good breakfast too

We had a fantastic couple of nights stay here in what we definitely would say is a five star accommodation. We stayed in the chalet, which is tastefully decorated, spacious, comfortable and very clean. It has everything you need, just like home from home. The hosts, Paul and Lisa go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure you won’t be disappointed with your stay here. The area is amazing, stunning beaches and scenery. We also loved seeing the sheep just roaming the countryside and all the cows in their fields. This is a beautiful island to visit, and if you do be sure to book a stay here at this lovely accommodation.

Farm house style B&B for 2 nights, with Paul as the host offering a great cooked breakfast (to order, English style!!) Great big TV on an extendable arm for comfortable viewing while sitting on the bad & speedy wi-fi access. Hens, ducks & cat outside welcome you in and huddle around you are entertaining themselves. Saw a golden eagle over the close by water.

Be aware the car satnav will take you to a parallel road, so closely follow Pauls' instructions on how to arrive and look out for his local signs along the correct route, Our bedroom and bathroom doors were a little sticky so needed to provide a little gentle pressure to close (no biggie, but maybe a little noisy for others).

From your chalet, you can walk multiple loops through serene white sand beaches on foot. We didn’t come across a single other person in 3 hour hikes. Just oyster catchers, short-eared owls, and even dolphins. In this peaceful landscape, you’ll find a luxurious chalet. With a hot tub we’re 100% saving to buy the exact model for at home now, fluffy dressing gowns and slippers, and a ridiculously warm and fluffy bed that just invites naps. Very dog friendly, even with an enclosed lawn area where your dog can run around. Free-roaming chickens, ducks and a friendly cat called Tigerlily who loves cuddles more than any cat we’ve ever met. So make sure your dog plays nice! You’ll be rewarded with the most delicious and fresh eggs in the morning, which you can buy from an egg box at the front of the farm. You’ll never get more free-roaming eggs in your life. As Paul explained to us, there’s no natural predators on the island so they have such a lovely life and were as happy as us! Paul and Lisa gave unlimited tips and advice. We felt so special and had a wonderful honeymoon. Thanks very much for making it happen!

FYI, everything on the island is closed on Sunday. So stock up on groceries!

A great b&b. Lovely bedroom, comfy bed and great shower. Great guest lounge with microwave and honesty bar with good range of beers. Paul is a great host. Were cycling the Hebridean Way and needed accommodation with evening dinner. Paul suggested that we get our evening meal from the local shop and microwave it at the b&b. Paul provided plates and cutlery and drinks from the honesty bar. Highly recommended

The location is exceptional, with lots of bird life. The facilities are high-quality, and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. Paul, the host, is passionate about his business and very welcoming. We had a very relaxing stay and slept well in a comfortable bed. The breakfast was superb. There are lots of homely touches in the rooms—very thoughtful.

The lodge was exactly what we required on this lovely island. It is situated on a Loch and a short drive or a modest walk to the beach. Not far from the RSPB Balrinald so plenty of wildlife right on the doorstep. The owners Paul and Lisa were so welcoming and hospitable. The chickens and ducks were hilarious and incredibly friendly. They even have 4 beautiful labradors if you want to say hi but they aren't roaming around so if you have a fear of dogs that's also fine. Greta advice given about where to go and what to see and even provided pain relief when I got sick.

A semi rural property with chooks and ducks to greet you, the accommodation consists of a spacious bedroom with well appointed bathroom upstairs and access to the lounge/breakfast room downstairs. A beautiful view from the upstairs bedroom window (the titular "Benview" ) complimented the lovely details added to our stay including fluffy dressing gowns and slippers. Paul and Lisa were perfect hosts, nothing too much trouble with good local advice to offer. We had an early departure so didn't get a chance to sample the cooked breakfast but they made sure there was plenty of cereals, yoghurts and juices for us to help ourselves to.

Paul, Lisa, and their home are all so lovely. I have been travelling for work and staying in lots of places over the last week, but the night I spent at Ben View felt like being home for a bit. It was so nice to be looked after, relax in the guest lounge for the evening, then enjoy a cooked breakfast before heading on my way. Comfy bed, great shower, and a robe was provided. Would come back, and entirely recommend.
