I am writing this review 21.2.2023, more than 1 month after the end of my trip to Cabo Verde, so I will not remember all details: I did not see a lot of guests. The staff was friendly regarding whatever questions I had. My room was quiet (as the whole hotel and area is) with a nice view and good comfi bed. Relatively close to the center allthough you will need a taxi or rental car if you are with suitcases. In fact one of the best things was the breakfeast! Versatile, delicous, and healthy options. If you go to Santo Antao you should have stayed here at least one night as it is the biggest hotel with good standard.

Slightly run down. There is a place from an Italian-German-CaboVerdian Woman and her daughter which is cheaper and in some aspects even better; even locals have advised it to me and in fact it is good. The woman preparing the breakfeast was unfriendly and ignoring. Suggest to change her with somebody social.

Very good pool, good size clean superior room, good base if you are happy to travel to Sant Antaos mountains

Not a good location for access to Cova, Paul valley and north coast

I visited here last 12 years ago and the property is as well maintained as on my first visit. Certainly things have aged but you see the love of the caretaking.

Although one can buy bottled water at the bar, having a bottle in the room would be appreciated.

Nicely situated just on the edge of town but within walking distance. Comfortable spacious room with a stunning view.

Wi-Fi wasn’t available everywhere just near the reception area. Sun beds could have been more comfortable

The food was really good, waiting was slightly too long. Nice garden and pool.

The facilities are old, they do their best to maintain them.

A little more English spoken by some of the staff would have been helpful
