The staff were amazing - especially Madeleine at the front of the house and Marina in the restaurant. They always tried to do everything in their power to help. The location is beautiful and quiet and the drive through the valley is stunning. We went half board and both the breakfast and dinner were amazing. The food was high quality and very tasty

Corridors didn’t match the beauty of the rooms and the spa whilst well equipped and relatively large in some areas could be updated. That said the possibility of swimming outside is a definite plus

The amenities and spa. The views and area are so beautiful and the remoteness of it is incredible.

The rooms are way too hot when it’s summer, at night it was 10 degrees celcius and the room was fuming hot, even without the blanket it was too hot. Idk how they manage it in winter but the halls between the rooms were chilly and cool, but the rooms were extremely hot. They should maybe install bug nets on the windows so that people can cool their room down without tons and tons of bugs and tons of of mosquitoes come in.

- Marende (afternoon tea) was plentiful and delicious - Sofa room in spa - Erwin and his sauna infusion - BREAKFAST was outstanding - spa area was very pleasant, busy at times but never felt crowded at all - proximity to biathlon centre - very quiet area

Unfortunately the vegetarian options at dinner were lacking a little bit of inspiration. I’m grateful that there is vegetarian options but maybe in the future at least the main meal could do with a bit more pep. For example, using vegetarian components from the “meat” mains (ie herb foam, homemade bread, etc) would lift the quality of the veggie mains immensely. Regardless of that everything else was so good that it was still an exceptional stay.

Good location for your trip in the Dolomites. Friendly staff, good facilities to wind down like the sauna and pool.

Be very careful if you are person of colour before booking this hotel. Most of the guest kept starring at us because don’t think they expected or seen people of colour before and it became very intimidating and irritating while using the pool, sauna and just seating down to have a meal. One very friendly guest actually came over to us and said just ignore the people because the reaction from the local guest was common towards people of colour, no fault of the hotel because they made us feel very welcomed and this stuff is out of their control. Just be warned if you don’t like people starting at you at every move you do while using the facilities don’t book.

Superb isolated position in the Anterselva / Antholz valley close to the lake. Nice atmosphere, mix of modern and traditional with attention to details, very kind and careful personnel. Facilities are at the level of 4-star although a bit small compared to the large and pleasant restaurant. No gym though.

Lovely, comfortable room. Very warm service from the whole team. Great food and ample breakfast offer. I didn’t use the spa facilities, but they looked very popular.

My balcony was slightly overlooked by other guests enjoying the garden loungers and the view.

Lovely pool and spa facilities. The dinner was nice and the afternoon snack was great. A nice idea to put the food in boxes for people to take to the table. Bar good. Walking distance to the cross country ski centre and the lake.

The breakfast was OK, but some of the items took some time to be refilled when they had run out - eggs and bacon, the croissants for example.

I would say that the pillows were not very comfortable and should be changed to a better quality. It would also be great to have a heated jacuzzi in the spa, as the water in the pool was not very warm.

Hotel is located in a quiet area in Antholz valley. SPA area and pools are nice but in the evening a bit overcrowded. Breakfast was great, a lot of variety and really tasteful.

Small rooms at the attic. Parking was full and it was hard to find a parking spot. SPA sometimes overcrowded. Overall, hotel should let less guests to book it at the same time.

Falkensteiner is one of the best hotels we've visited! Amazing food, super friendly staff, and a spectacular location. The swimming pool is fantastic, and the e-bike tour in the mountains was unforgettable. We'll definitely be back!
