A truly unforgettable place. We chose this hotel because we fell in love with its style and location—but nothing could have prepared us for how beautiful it would be in real life. Every little detail, from the carefully chosen artworks to the elegant vases, felt intentional and full of soul. Staying there didn’t feel like a typical hotel experience. It felt like being welcomed into the home of close friends—or even family. We instantly felt at peace. The atmosphere was warm, refined, and deeply relaxing. But what made our stay truly magical is that my boyfriend proposed to me on the terrace of this very hotel. It became the setting for one of the most special moments of our lives, and we will forever hold it in our hearts. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommend this place to anyone looking not just for comfort, but for beauty, serenity, and a little touch of magic.

If I could wish for anything, it would be a bit more lighting in the rooms. But other than that, everything was absolutely perfect.

Everything! Everything was perfect from the warm and smiley welcome we've received during our check in at 19 30, the interior , the room , the terrace the view...I mean...👌🏽 We didn't manage to have dinner there on the same night we've arrived because the restaurant isn't always open but we've managed to have lunch there on the day after, it was well worth staying those extra hours and delaying our next check in flavours and service were impeccable. Highly recommend.

I don't like that the OTHER hotel's weren't as good as Hostal de la plaça!

Family run hotel and guests feel like family. The owner went out of her way to gave us a ride to the metro station. The staff and family go out of your way to assist you. It’s truly a family environment. Cabrils is a serene village. About a min walk down to Villasar to go to the beach. Get out of the hustle of the city and stay here.

It can be harder to get a bolt from here as it’s a little out of the way but Uber was fine.

I liked the cosy atmosphere in the hotel with family portraits and several paintings scattered all over the building. I loved the terrace, the dining areas and the location.

My room didn’t have a good view- Room number 1. One window faces the church tower and there are kitchen smells coming up if you‘d like to leave the window open. The other window looked at the rear of the building but also the parking area and the air conditioning pipes. I could have immediately objected but didn’t.

First and foremost, the staff were incredible and so welcoming – we also really appreciated that they spoke English! The bedroom was very clean and cosy. The hotel itself was beautiful with stunning views of the ocean from the restaurant. My partner and I are vegetarian, the French waiter (unfortunately we didn’t get his name) was super helpful with helping us with the menu. Although there were no main vegetarian options they made us a vegetarian paella on the first night, and the starters and sharers were all delicious. Especially the cannelloni and burrata salad. We will absolutely be coming back, thank you so much for such a peaceful and wonderful stay!

The hostal is located 3.7 km from the beach, so you need to take a bus. However; the hostal, the quaint town, and the views are well worth it!

The accommodation exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff were professional and attentive, ensuring that my business trip went smoothly. The room was impeccably clean and equipped with all the modern amenities, making my stay very comfortable.

It's challenging to pinpoint anything I didn't like given the high standard of service. However, every establishment can benefit from continuous improvement, perhaps in updating some facilities or expanding the breakfast variety even further.

We spent one night here on the way to the Costa Brava. It is a charming little hotel in the middle of a pretty Catalan town, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and they have a truly excellent restaurant. I would recommend having dinner there. Breakfast was included and ample.

I was there to buy a house in Cabrils so location was key! From location to cleanliness to comfort, it all exceeded my expectations. Restaurant was beyond fantastic! 5 Star!

Honestly, the only things that bothered me were the amount of bells rung at the nearby church.

I loved this hotel so much! Loved all the character and personal photos of the family that has been running it for 4 generations! So unique and well kept and super charming with all the historic little books, ceramics, maps, art and keepsakes!
