Hotel Torino is a cute one star hotel owned by a family. It is located in a place called El Masnou. El Masnou is a safe place and people are quite friendly. Also the hotel is safe. Rooms are very small, but that was okay since we only slept there and we were out the whole day. The hotel is clean, also when you check in you get a card for the door that says "do not disturb" (you put that side of the card if you don't want your room to be cleaned) or on the other side it says "clean the room please". You get the towels but you don't get toiletries so you either bring some with or by in a local supermarket. We also paid for the breakfast and for us it was great 👍 so you have coffee, tea, milk (cow and plant based) juices, fruits, 3 different types of cereals, different breads, wieners, some mix of potato and eggs, butter, jam, ham and cheese, also cookies. And they will always put more food if they see it starts missing and they tell you to ask them to refill everything that you notice to start missing. They will give you recommendations on where to eat in this place if you ask them of course, also in this area you have 2 washing places if you feel the need to wash your clothes (for 11 kg of clothes you pay 5 or 6 euros). The beach is really near and beautiful. We went to Barcelona everyday, except one day when we stayed at the beach. You catch the train R1 I think it's called and you will be in Barcelona in 20 to 30 minutes. The train is really coming often so you will not wait long, also the last one is I think at 23.30pm. We bought tickets for 30 days (those were the cheapest from our point of view) and we bought them for 2 zones (because El Masnou is in the second zone). So it goes Barcelona, Badalona and then El Masnou. You have quite a bit of supermarkets.

The rooms are really small and some toiletries would be nice, but that's really nothing special. Like they can not do anything about the room size, it is what it is and like I said you only sleep there so at the end of the day it doesn't matter.

The staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, especially for us as we were babysitting our granddaughter for the holidays and she lives opposite. The beach is around the corner, there’s a mini market opposite, also has lovely staff, and the main part of the village is a short walk up the hill. The rooms are very clean, as is the whole place, there’s a lift as well as stairs and breakfast is available if required.

Our shower was loose and probably could do with replacing but that didn’t cause a problem. Also, there was no outside space to the rooms.

The place offers great value for money. We liked being away from the city centre and enjoyed relaxing drinks on the beach after sightseeing. The train was more packed then we imagined but still ok. If you are a family, buy a discounted 8 rides ticekts. The rooms are small but clean and the beds were comfortable.

1. The breakfast at 9EUROs was too expensive for a family of 4. Our 2 daugthers had a croissant each and a glass of orange juice. There is no hot food and no vegs for a sandwich (like tomato or cucumber) so it's not worth 36Euros for a family of 4 in my opinion. We had it once and then every day we would get a fresh baguette, pack of ham, cheese and tomatoes and eat it on the beach before catching the train. 2. My children are aged 14 and 15 so were showing as "children" on the booking and got 2 very small towels. After we talked to the receptionist and asked for the adult size, he agreed to bring some...but never did.

The location is excellent, just 5 minute walk from the sea. The place is quite area. The cleaning and the hygiene in the Hotel is great. The room was cleaned every day and the towels and sheets were changed every 3rd day. The staff were polite and approachable. There is big supermarket just opposite the hotel main entrance.

The room is bit small which made trouble for us moving around because we needed to keep our suitcases in the walking part. The closet is not enough for two people clothes, especially for longer stay (7+ nights).

Hotel in an excellent location for the beach two minutes walk,gets busy but not crowded,shops also on the beach front,restaurants,bars & train station,hotel Torino was very clean,air con & ceiling fan was great to have a choice in our room which was fresh & clean,the gentleman on reception was always happy to help,very quick in answering any questions or queries before we arrived & while we were there,nice relaxed feel for the four nights,decor choice gave it a nice homely feeling when you arrive,very welcoming .

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Super nice staff, great location (super close to the beach and a train station so you could go to Barcelona and other neighboring cities). We also liked how breakfast was served until 11 am, so we could oversleep. Overall very cozy; one of the best parts of our trip!

No frigobar in the bedroom, and not a lot of wall sockets. Our only complainants, honestly. Another thing you should be aware of (but the hotel has no control over this): the trains end service at midnight, so you will have to take the bus if you want to stay until late at night in Barcelona.

Very kind and helpful staff. We are keeping a gluten-free diet so we didn't request brrakfast vut the staff let us keep our food in the fridge which needed cooling. Clean room, nice view from the window to the city, black-out covers for the windows so at night we could sleep in darkness. Railway station is 5 mins walking and there's a small shop just in front of the hotel. Beach is 3 mins walking.

Relatively small rooms and there were not enough hangers in the room for our wet towels/ beach wears after swimming, so everything was covered with sand after a while. Bathroom is small a bit. The center if Barcelona can be reached in 45 minutes which is a bit far away, additional (Zone 2) ticket is needed for that.

Very clean hotel throughout, very friendly staff, very comfy bed, excellent shower, very good air conditioning, good choice at breakfast, nice water filter available for use, excellent location , only 2 mins to beach and 4 mins to train station, well stocked grocery store opposite.

Room was a bit noisy at night, some traffic noise and on first night could hear easily the next door guests. But found the solution was to put the air conditioning on. This helped cover this noise up.

Lovely quiet hotel with incredibly friendly staff and great customer service. Our room was tidy and clean (amazing air con) and would definitely stay here again/ recommend to friends if you want to stay just outside of the city and close to the beach (the trains and metro were super easy to use, I would highly recommend using google maps to direct you to these). There was also a shop directly opposite the hotel which was incredibly useful (food and toiletries etc) - also a range of places to eat within a few minutes of waking (a lovely brunch cafe that serves really yummy food!!) P.S. there is also a small lift that came in handy :)

Nothing, it was great!

It's just near the place we went to. It gave us just what we need, a nice place to get sleep. People there is nice and helpful, specially the owner. If you go to the beach, is gonna be difficult to find somewhere better placed, one block from it.

The rooms are small, but if you don't need to spend time there, are OK; anyway you can use the spaces on the ground floor. There is no parking in the hotel or in its surroundings. You have to park 6 or 8 blocks away in the white-painted spaces on the streets of El Masnou, if you don't wanna pay for.
