Hotel Torino is a cute one star hotel owned by a family. It is located in a place called El Masnou. El Masnou is a safe place and people are quite friendly. Also the hotel is safe. Rooms are very small, but that was okay since we only slept there and we were out the whole day. The hotel is clean, also when you check in you get a card for the door that says "do not disturb" (you put that side of the card if you don't want your room to be cleaned) or on the other side it says "clean the room please". You get the towels but you don't get toiletries so you either bring some with or by in a local supermarket. We also paid for the breakfast and for us it was great 👍 so you have coffee, tea, milk (cow and plant based) juices, fruits, 3 different types of cereals, different breads, wieners, some mix of potato and eggs, butter, jam, ham and cheese, also cookies. And they will always put more food if they see it starts missing and they tell you to ask them to refill everything that you notice to start missing. They will give you recommendations on where to eat in this place if you ask them of course, also in this area you have 2 washing places if you feel the need to wash your clothes (for 11 kg of clothes you pay 5 or 6 euros). The beach is really near and beautiful. We went to Barcelona everyday, except one day when we stayed at the beach. You catch the train R1 I think it's called and you will be in Barcelona in 20 to 30 minutes. The train is really coming often so you will not wait long, also the last one is I think at 23.30pm. We bought tickets for 30 days (those were the cheapest from our point of view) and we bought them for 2 zones (because El Masnou is in the second zone). So it goes Barcelona, Badalona and then El Masnou. You have quite a bit of supermarkets.

The rooms are really small and some toiletries would be nice, but that's really nothing special. Like they can not do anything about the room size, it is what it is and like I said you only sleep there so at the end of the day it doesn't matter.

Very kind and helpful staff. We are keeping a gluten-free diet so we didn't request brrakfast vut the staff let us keep our food in the fridge which needed cooling. Clean room, nice view from the window to the city, black-out covers for the windows so at night we could sleep in darkness. Railway station is 5 mins walking and there's a small shop just in front of the hotel. Beach is 3 mins walking.

Relatively small rooms and there were not enough hangers in the room for our wet towels/ beach wears after swimming, so everything was covered with sand after a while. Bathroom is small a bit. The center if Barcelona can be reached in 45 minutes which is a bit far away, additional (Zone 2) ticket is needed for that.

Lovely quiet hotel with incredibly friendly staff and great customer service. Our room was tidy and clean (amazing air con) and would definitely stay here again/ recommend to friends if you want to stay just outside of the city and close to the beach (the trains and metro were super easy to use, I would highly recommend using google maps to direct you to these). There was also a shop directly opposite the hotel which was incredibly useful (food and toiletries etc) - also a range of places to eat within a few minutes of waking (a lovely brunch cafe that serves really yummy food!!) P.S. there is also a small lift that came in handy :)

Nothing, it was great!

It's just near the place we went to. It gave us just what we need, a nice place to get sleep. People there is nice and helpful, specially the owner. If you go to the beach, is gonna be difficult to find somewhere better placed, one block from it.

The rooms are small, but if you don't need to spend time there, are OK; anyway you can use the spaces on the ground floor. There is no parking in the hotel or in its surroundings. You have to park 6 or 8 blocks away in the white-painted spaces on the streets of El Masnou, if you don't wanna pay for.

The staff were lovely, it was very clean, comfortable and cheap. This hotel is well positioned and incredibly good value. It is only 2 star but we will stay again . Thanks to the owner for changing our rooms .

Our first room was very small with a tiny bathroom but after 2 nights they changed the room to a larger one which was lovely. My only other small gripe was the noise of residents after midnight or at least people downstairs . Maybe the doorman at night could gently ask residents to speak quietly.

Very nice hotel, in such a good location, super close to the train station with trains going to Barcelona, taking 30 mins. The big plus is the El Masnou beach. The place in general is a bit older and not very fancy but we were very satisfied with the service and the help received from the hotel for everything we needed. Kind staff.

The price, quite high for this kind of hotel but in Barcelona it’s probably a standard.

The rooms are spartan, but they are impeccably clean—even the sheets are ironed! I used to commute weekly to Austin, TX, and I wish the so-called 3-star hotel chains were as clean as this place. Highly recommended if you're looking for a calm and safe stay, just 20 minutes from Plaça Catalunya by train, without breaking your budget.

The hotel was close to the beach, with many restaurants and a mini market. The room was clean and the hotel staff were very approachable and kind. The room was cosy just perfect for me and my son. It's a pity that I didnt have breakfast as my son usually woke up very late in the morning. The WiFi was great as well.

Nothing to object to, I have no complaints.

The loveliest little hotel. The staff are all amazing and made my mum and I feel very welcome. It it small but with beautiful decor and a relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast is great with a good array and plant based milks available. The location is perfect - 5 mins from the beach and train, and located in a lovely little town with a couple of nice shops and restaurants.

Loved the location , the staff very supportive in attending the needs and the owner being very kind and helpful in all the questions that we had regarding location , attractions and how to get there...

My partner and I had an amazing time and I really don't have any complaints about the hotel..
