The staff were very nice and helpful during check-in and check-out. We were only at the hotel for one night so the room, even though it was very small, was sufficient. The room was very clean, so compliments to the cleaning staff. It was also nice having parking readily available. We did not try breakfast, but the location was great. We wanted to be close to Misawa Air Base, and the hotel was literally walking distance away from the base.

The room was very small, as if it was for one person. The bed was big but it took up most of the room, which made walking around a little difficult.

My husband was working at Misawa AFB and walked to work every morning; about 5 minutes to the gate. Breakfast was amazing and had lots of variety. The onsen in the hotel was so convenient and we loved being able to go soak for a few minutes everyday. They gave us the option to forgo daily room cleaning and instead give us tokens for the vending machine. We thought that was a nice little perk. We shipped our luggage from Narita airport to this hotel and had no issues. Highly recommend this place.

Great staff - I mean, really good. Having had to break the stay into two bookings due to lack of a non-smoking room on one night, when one became available, they combined my two bookings into one. So I didn't have to check out and check back in again in the evening. Also the morning shifts were great with calling taxis for me. Good breakfasts, nice onsen and the room was quiet, despite being next to the lift shaft.

The only thing I didn't like is I didn't book quickly enough to get the full length of stay I wanted. But that is not a criticism of the hotel - when an airshow is on, you have to book early and quickly.

I should try to gatekeep this fantastic for the money hotel, but I won't! Perfect location, just enough room for my needs, the breakfast and service were an amazing introduction to Japanese culture.

Great location if you’re looking for a place to stay close to the Airport and the US military base. Room and facilities are great. Staff are friendly. I loved the public hot bath. Breakfast is also included, which added even more value to the price of the room.

The hallway and the room smelled like humidity, or even moldy. It wasn’t unbearable but definitely was unpleasant when I first entered. And the shower curtain also had some black spot (mold-like).

The Route Inn at Misawa is near to the Misawa Air Base, there are several restaurants / diners within walking distance. Parking is included, we have been using this Hotel since our first visit to Japan in 2007. Easy to find, good location, very helpful staff, quick check-in, comfortable well-lit rooms, free coffee in reception, breakfast is included.

the breakfast was very good . The staff was wonderful ! Very helpful and friendly , they helped with many things - making a restaurant reservation , calling cabs and just being nice .

I requested a smoking room and the window was a little difficult to open and close . It wasn't a big thing , the room had a very nice air filter so the smoke wasn't a problem .

The bathroom floor had a small incline, for drainage this makes sense but it is a but nauseating. Like being on a cruise ship

I loved the onsen! And the staff were all very professional and very helpful.

If they could add soy milk that would be very helpful for vegans.
