The room was huge with a nice view, not too far from the station and right next to the museum and main downtown area. The breakfast buffet was simply awesome and they had free flight of local sake in the evening. The staff was also unfailingly friendly and helpful. The rooms were just a tad dated but clean and updated where it mattered with the wallpaper and carpet. I actually loved the 70s vibe of the furniture. Bed was also super comfortable.

The washlet on the toilet was older and not heated. Not that I can't live without it, but if you're going to have them ... Also there was some noise from other rooms but stopped at night. And one night I could smell smoke.

Large, well equiped room. Helpful staff at check in. Filter coffee provided to make in the room. Reasonable price; value for money would have been better if I hadn't had to leave early. Decent walking distance from Hon Hachinohe railway station.

All the other hotels closer to where I wanted to be were fully booked. But that's no criticism of the Hachinohe Grand Hotel. Under the circumstances it was a very pleasant stay.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. It was perfectly clean, and the short walk to the train station was perfect. The room is very small, so I wouldn't want to stay here for more than 1-2 nights. However it was perfect for my needs, which was a clean room near the train station at a good price.

The room was small, but that's what I expected. I didn't have the breakfast, which was a standard Japanese breakfast.

Location was convenient to the train station. The bathroom was great. The elevators were fast with no waiting.

The room was warm and the AC did not work. The room needed more effective lighting.

Parking was confusing, but mostly due to the fact that I do not speak nor read Japanese. Additionally, the beds weren’t the most comfortable

Very comfortable and centrally located. Lots of options at breakfast. Staff was helpful. Not much English, but we were able to communicate.

Excellent central, quiet location close to downtown shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Cheap parking in front of hotel. Polite, elegant front desk staff. We were pleasantly surprised by the little perks offered at check-in, such as the free bath salts bar, alternative choice of shampoo, and welcoming sample of local sweets. Clean, very spacious room.

Lighting was not to our taste, but sufficient. Mattresses were a little worn out.

Art museum right next door. Yokocho in walking distance.
