I was really positively suprised by this hotel as it had so many bad reviews at the time of booking. To be fair, we only tried our luck as it was the last one in the vicinity of the Nebuta festival in Aomori, so did not have any real expectations and just wanted a bed. However, the staff already greeted us really warmly and the room was a typical standard hotel room for business purposes. I am very sensitive towards smoke and the smell of it in rooms that have been converted to non-smoking rooms but I really could not smell a thing in our room. I usually get a bad headache if there is even a trace, so I was really pleasantly suprise as some reviews stated otherwise. The non-smoking and smoking rooms are separated by levels in the hotel, so there was no smell in the halls either. The room had all the normal necessities like soap, fridge, razor, tea, and what have you. We did not go snooping into every corner of the room, but felt that all was nice and clean. There are some convenience stores and many restaurants and izakayas around. Getting to the train station was rather easy with either bus or train, you only had to watch out for the last one around 10pm, otherwise taxis where the only option (around 3000 yen in 2023). There is also a parking space on the hotel property for guests. In total, we had a really lovely time here and would recommend it for everyone travelling on a budget!

Some late night public transport options would be great but the hotel is at no fault here.

Breakfast was very good as always. The location is probably better than any other hotels in the center of Hachinohe. Close to the restaurant area but far enough to be quiet.

Non-Smoking rooms were not available. Since the hotel is not one of the newest, the rooms strongly smell like cigarette. If this could be improved even slightly, I would be more satisfied.

Breakfast was really good. I can choose this hotel only for that service. The staff was really helpful and they prepared some snacks and alcohol during the festival.

There was only one lift. It was quite noisy when the staff started working (I was on the 7th floor, I think). The sound of the staff walking reflected in the corridor and came into my room (maybe, it was because of my room´s location).

Very friendly staff, free bread, snacks, miso soup and drink. Toilet is very clean.

Room is quite small and the carpet is stained. Some facilities, like the ac unit, is very old. Blanket is a bit thin. It was a bit pricey due to theAomori Nebuta Matsuri.

It’s a simple hotel, but the rooms do the job for a good night of resting and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The room was clean and even though you can notice the passing of time, they are still perfectly comfortable and clean.

The breakfast was delicious. The staff really nice and helpful. Well located, not far from the station and bus stops, it was easy to go around. I had a nice view from my room on the 7th floor.

Old Showa-era Hotel. We stayed in a smoking room and it was not so bad, but those sensitive to smoke smell should avoid. Great location. I'd stay again. Good value for money.

Comfortable. It was a smoking room, I am a smoker it was a nice fit.

I didn't realize they would park your car for you in their lot so I was a little bit confused. Jaoanese is not my first language though.

I was fine, but the place is a bit dated.....almost un-self consciously retro! A little pricey, but we were there during a festival and booked last moment.

The breakfast was great for its value. They also had free complimentary parking.

Our room for two can be a bit narrow at times, and we could not figure out how to switch off the room's lampshade.
