It's in a pretty good location, just a 15-minute walk from Honhachinohe Station. Just across the car park is an alley of food places, and just round the corner is a convenient store, so food options were plenty! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were also very grateful for the coin-operated washing and drying machines!

Although the room was non-smoking, it's definitely been used as a smoking room, either relatively recently or it's been awhile but it was a smoking room for so many years that the smell is forever embedded into the walls. Thankfully, we left the window open for the duration of our stay, and it definitely helped

An older hotel in a central part of the town. The roof and doors are quite low, so much that I had to bend to get into the room. The hotel is on the older side ... and this is evident in the carpet, decor, etc. But it is not too shabby either, given the low price.

The bed was a bit hard.

Good price, very comfortable bed, comfortable aircon and mostly a very clean room.

At first, the entire room was really clean and seemed like really good value. But when I took a shower there was a fair amount of mold where the shower curtain rests against the wall and down the corner of the wall too. It was a shame because I changed my mind from thinking this is an excellent hotel, to this is just a good hotel. I’m sure it would be really easy to fix that mold quite quickly.

Didn't feel very clean, the bedsheet felt used and old. Felt pretty crammed in the room.

The location of the hotel is quite good with many restaurants behind the hotel.

The staff attitude, very unfriendly and not helpful. When we asked the staff about restaurants around, he told us no restaurant near by. Later we found out there are many restaurants just behind the hotel. When we asked the staff where to park our car, the staff told us to park at the public parking lot just in front of the hotel with a maximum fee of 700 yen from 15.00 to 10.00 am the next day. We checked in around 15.30 and we checked out at 9.00 am. But when we exit at the car park gate, we have to pay 1,700 yen. We were really very disappointed because when we checked out at the hotel, we asked the staff again about the parking fee, the staff just said to pay at the car park exit. We paid for the breakfast in the hotel, it was a buffet breakfast, but the staff in the restaurant again also very rude to us too, there was only one male staff there but he kept looking at us while we were eating, every time we stand up to take the food, he came over to clean the table. He made us very un comfortable and unable to enjoy our breakfast. The cost of the breakfast was 900 yen per person but not much food to eat.

Unfortunately, our room was a smoking room. There was no information about that on booking.com during the booking process. It was not possible to change the room, the staff at the reception told us that all rooms which are sold on booking.com are smoking rooms. I wouldn't recommend this hotel on booking.com to non-smokers.
