Christoph's home in the French countryside was fantastic! We received a warm welcome and were shown to the most fabulous room in the villa. Lots of history in the stone walls. There's a photo album showing how the owners had developed the property over a long number of years. The room was big with a huge bed, large bathroom and dual aspect windows. Really, really quiet too! Our breakfast was typically French and we enjoyed eating in the 'conservatory' with good views. There was plenty of it too - locally grown grapes, Christoph's own jam and honey. We also had dinner cooked by Christoph - it was simple but just what we needed at the end of a long drive. We would definitely stop again!

We didn't have time to enjoy the beautiful gardens, swimming pool and spa - we had planned to arrive earlier but had trouble with our car!

Everything! If you look for an island of tranquility, quietness and being away from all the hustle of big cities - you are in the right place! It’s easy to see that all is made with love here, little details of decor, attitude, you feel home from moment one. The owner is absolutely amazing, super sweet man who cooked a nice and hearty dinners for us and without even asking made our toddler eat everything on the plate, which is extraordinary! The pool area is chill and a savior during hot weather. Beds are big and very comfortable, we had fantastic sleep on both days. Thank you for your hospitality, it was a great choice for us!

Cant think about anything!

This was our favourite place to stay in France. Picture an old stone building, in a little village with views over the in the Rhone region north of the Loire valley. There was even a stone spiral staircase to our room. We enjoyed a wonderful four course meal served by the open fireplace each night. Our hosts, Christophe and Cedric were fantastic in every respect. The entire venue has been meticulously renovated with some modern facilities tastefully included such as a large pool, two spas and a sauna. It is worth going to this place just to admire the gardens. 10 out of 10 for us.

We had some hot summer weather and also a warm night. But that was not due to the place.

It was beautiful, the food was outstanding and mostly home grown. They made a real effort for my celiac friend. It was perfect. We were walking the Camino and would recommend this place to other pilgrims.

The property is very well maintained with a typical French atmosphere. The host is extremely friendly and takes very well care of his guests. We really recommend this place!

Christoffe was a wonderful host- attentive to our needs. The evening meal was relaxed - extremely delicious - very French cooking - delicious.
